User feedback on 100 Doors Challenge

The game seems a bit buggy. I enjoyed the introduction levels, though they were quite easy (of course! Intro levels are always easy) but in room 4 of the classic rooms, I can't select the box of rubbish. It just will not let me select it. Otherwise the game has been good so far.

The puzzles are interesting and fun to figure out. Each level takes a minute or so to complete, which is way different than the other escape games I play. Once you play a bit you get a feel for which objects can be manipulated in what way, which minimizes the "guess clicking" that people are mentioning. If you played any other escape games like the '50 Room Escape' series, this will seem way easy. It's great for beginning players, but also clever enough to keep experienced players interested.

To about lvl 56 or so, I had completely lost faith in this game. The app doesn't become more challenging over time, just inconvenient. After some time, the puzzles of each room give very sloppy controls or solutions only the developers would understand. For example, lvl 56 gives a hint in the form of classic algebraic yx access with an emphasis on the angle. Then on the floor there and four shapes with different angle degrees. Turns out you have count each corner. How are we supposed to know?

Good game but there's a bug at level 46 in classic doors game. Whenever I hold a light, the light goes into the ball and when I release it, it comes back to its place again. I have to hold all 8 lights simultaneously so that the doors open. How is it possible to use all 8 fingers at the same time and pass this level? Unfortunately, no hints are available for this level. I had to skip this level. There aren't any hints available at all the levels.

A quite enjoyable little puzzle game, very reminiscent of old point-and-click adventure games like Myst, complete with the often baffling logical leaps you sometimes must take to reach a solution. This one is both very good and very bad in that regard, as you'll scratch your head a lot but also have some very clever surprises. The very soothing background music lends itself well to a puzzle solving mood. Overall, quite enjoyable for free, and maybe worth paying a bit to avoid the annoying ads.
