    Oh, I was waiting for a taxi for 10 minutes but couldn't get one. So, I closed the app. And then, guess what? I received a call saying that a taxi is already waiting for me!

    The app's interface got a revamp and it's way more user-friendly now. But when it comes to taxi drivers and their card-swiping machines, there’s often trouble. I've encountered this issue at least four times before, with reasons like “can’t connect” being given. It was only one day when I rode in a small captain's car that I found out some of the "older" drivers actually choose not to let passengers pay by credit card intentionally. Cash is handy, but credit card payment has been widely used abroad for many years. In Taiwan, known as the electronics kingdom, we're actually lagging behind in electronic payments. The big taxi fleets in Taiwan really need to step up and educate their drivers on this matter.

    To go to the airport by MRT from Linkou Station, you need to enter the correct address instead of using the map or road names. You cannot input any MRT station as your destination or book a car to pick you up at the MRT station.

    In the new version, if there are no nearby drivers available, the app will automatically call a taxi for you. This is because if you try to cancel the booking within the app, it might get stuck and you won't be able to cancel it. So, it's kind of a hassle, isn't it?
