5e Companion App - D&D reference guide

Oh, I love this app! It helps you create characters, check out spell effects, and set up encounters. Some parts could use updating, but it's easy to make changes and add new stuff. The only things I'd like are the option to adjust multi-classes and rearrange characters - just tiny improvements. Update from April 23, 2023: I'm giving it 4 stars now. Since the latest update, it seems they're pushing more towards in-app purchases, and my ad-free purchase got messed up. Now I have ads popping up again. Frustrating!

You liked the app until the recent update. Now, it keeps crashing whenever you try to open it on your BLU Vivo X phone. You really enjoy the interface and the option to create custom classes and races. But now, you can't use the app at all because of the crashes. However, after switching to a new phone, the app runs smoothly with no problems. You've updated your rating because of this positive experience.

The Pros are almost perfect! The simple design and layout make for a quick interface for running all parts of an adventure, like character creation, leveling up, customizing monsters and items. If my players use the app, I can easily send them custom stuff using my phone's beam feature, like items, spells, abilities, and feats. As for the Cons, it would be great to have a place to jot down notes and organize my story within the app. Having to switch to my note app is a small inconvenience. Also, having a random generator for adventure ideas and CR based loot would be a helpful addition.

Adding an option to toggle sound on/off while rolling dice to provide audio feedback. 2. Making the purple text in information sections copyable for convenience. 3. Introducing a second notes field for tracking less critical details. 4. Allowing customization to automatically roll a d20 or d10 upon pressing the cast button for Eldritch Blast. 5. The app is amazing, and I'm enjoying it a lot! While playing as a barbarian, I reached level 3 where I had to choose a primal path. I opted for the path of the totem warrior but couldn't select my totem spirit—either Bear, Eagle, or Wolf—which significantly impacts abilities. Adding this feature would be really helpful! An update from the developer swiftly resolved the issue, so fantastic job by the dev team!

Wow, this app is totally awesome, I'd give it a 10 out of 10 and would definitely recommend it. It's similar to DnD Beyond but without any payment restrictions and offers even more features. The layout is fantastic and you can create your own unique races, classes, backgrounds, and feats. However, there seems to be an issue with one of my custom monsters that I'm trying to save. Despite filling out all the fields, it just won't save, which is pretty frustrating. Looks like I'll have to redo everything from scratch.
