With the 9292 travel planner, you can seamlessly plan your journeys throughout the Netherlands using trains, buses, metros, trams, and ferries. Need to include biking, e-bikes/scooters, or rental bikes in your itinerary? We've got you covered. Simply input your starting point and destination, and we will provide you with real-time travel information for all forms of public transport in the Netherlands. The app also supports Flex-OV services such as the watertaxi in Rotterdam, and in case of any disruptions, we offer alternative routes. Stay updated with live public transport information from NS, Arriva, Connexxion, Breng, Hermes, Keolis, RRReis, Qbuzz, EBS, U-OV, RET, HTM, GVB, and Waterbus.

E-Tickets for a Seamless Journey

Purchase e-tickets directly from the travel recommendations within the 9292 app. Affiliated public transport services for buses, trams, metros, and ferries include Arriva, Breng, Connexxion, EBS, Hermes, HTM, Keolis, RET, U-OV, and Waterbus. National train services like NS, Blauwnet, Qbuzz, Connexxion, Arriva, and Keolis are also supported.

Musical Journey

Design your travel plans with the 9292 app. At the end of your chosen travel advice, find the "Playlist for this trip" button that leads you to the Playlist Generator. Here, personalized playlists based on your travel time are created.

Crowd Expectations

In times of uncertainty, knowing how crowded the trains, buses, trams, or metros are vital for planning your travels. The 9292 app indicates the expected occupancy levels for each mode of transport as provided by the transport services.

Bicycle Before and After Your Journey

Under 'Options', specify whether you intend to walk, cycle, or use a scooter at the beginning or end of your journey. This feature provides comprehensive advice with all necessary details for traveling between two points. Consider choosing an electric bicycle or rental bike. Additionally, if you opt for bicycling, we offer information on bicycle rental spots for the last leg of your trip.

The app offers various location selection options - 'current location' (via GPS), a recognized place (mall, station, attraction), an address or bus stop, your contacts list, or frequently and recently visited locations.

Add your favorite locations and routes to the home screen using the plus sign. Customize the 9292 app into your personal tool for swift trip planning without requiring an account. Quick access to real-time departure times can be achieved by adding regularly used bus stops or stations to your home screen.

Liked a particular travel suggestion? Save it for later by tapping the plus sign on the top right corner. Retrieve your saved travel advice via the app's menu.

Travel advice includes a map displaying the recommended route. Click on it to view the journey steps on a detailed map, providing an interactive experience where you can swipe through the entire trip seamlessly.

FAQs:

1. Where can I indicate that I only want to travel by train or bus?

You can indicate this on the homepage at 'plan your trip'. To do so, click on the tab 'Extra options' in the planner tab; here you can check which means of transport you want to use for travel. Or, of course, you can uncheck the means of transport with which you do not want to travel.By default, all options are checked.

2. Where can I find (comprehensive) price information?

At the bottom of every travel advice, we show you what the journey costs with the OV chip card. Would you like more details about the price, such as travel with discount, return prices or subscription prices? You can find this with the button 'Show discount and details' and then the button 'View all prices'. At this moment this information is only available in Dutch at this location.  

My app is in Dutch/English, Where/how can I change this?

The app follows the setting of your phone. For all language settings other than Dutch, the text in the app will be displayed in English by default.

3.Where can I find information about the OV chip card?

Information about the OV chip card can be found on this website under the tab Prices and subscriptions.
