Aarogya Setu is a mobile app created by the Government of India that links essential health services with the citizens of India. This app has become a vital tool in the collective battle against COVID-19 and has transformed into the National Health application to efficiently serve the Indian population. With an intuitive User Interface, it offers features such as ABHA (Health ID) generation, linking and discovery of health records for digitized longitudinal health profiles, simplified Consent Management for sharing records, and a convenient search function to locate nearby hospitals, labs, and blood banks.

Highlighted Features of Aarogya Setu platform:

● Establishment of ABHA (Ayushman Bharat Health Account) for creating and managing longitudinal health records allowing access to information from admission to discharge without paper records

The pandemic has left many in distress. The distress is so much that it is become paranoid even in the educated class, thereby addressing pressing need for good council and supportive information.

User suggest, the app adds more features as to address the following concern areas.

01. The need of a good councillor doctor to calm down the patient or person turning positive.

02. To help easily get the necessary hospitalisation services for those who are poor.

03. Those who can afford good hospitalisation and who are adequately covered under health insurance policy be given guidance of hospitals where he/ she can get access to good treatment at a cost.

04. Release as many videos of doctors for advising asymptotic patients who can self monitor and take good care whilst not risking life.

05. Government assurance that the patient will be given simple form for contact tracing details in English/ local language which can help authorities to take supportive steps to quarantine the primary/ secondary contacts thereby help stop spreading virus.

06. Post recovery what all needs to periodically checked if one has undergone hospitalisation or moderately sick n recovered.

07. Empaneled doctors of different disciplines to understand and address various ailments or concerns effectively.

    The App is doing well. It would be helpful if it could detect when someone books travel tickets and display the details. With Unlock02, many people will be out, so showing me crowded areas nearby would be handy. Also, knowing the nearest COVID isolation center's location would be useful. These are my suggestions. 👍🏽

    I've been attempting to schedule an appointment through the app to get the COVID vaccine, but it keeps showing an error message. Despite trying multiple times over the past three days at various hours, I haven't been able to secure a booking in any of the hospitals listed as having available slots. This problem is not just with me; others I know are experiencing the same issue. It's quite frustrating. Something seems seriously wrong with this useless application.

    So, there's this feature in the app that shows you how many cases are around you within a certain distance, like 500 meters or 1 kilometer. This is pretty crucial and should always be on the main screen. But sometimes, it doesn't show up no matter what you try, even if you restart the app multiple times. And there's no other way to access that information. Anyway, good effort overall!

    The app is okay, but the interface could be easier to use. It only gives basic COVID case statistics. It would be better if it could show real-time locations of patients like Google Maps and have a suggestion box for users. This would make it more useful and popular.

    The app is awesome! It could have some new features like showing the current location of corona cases on a map, displaying the movement trail of corona-affected people, and indicating the number of users in the same city. This way, if people are aware of locations with corona cases, they can avoid those areas, which can help in controlling the pandemic more effectively and quickly.

    There were some improvements after the recent update, as my mobile no longer hangs when I turn on Bluetooth. However, the battery drain issue is still there and needs to be fixed. More information is required, like quarantine or nearby hot spots in the app. I'm giving it four stars for the effort. After two weeks, the bug is still there. Now, when I open the app, the WiFi or internet connection keeps disconnecting. Sometimes, the phone freezes too.

    Thank you for the efforts made during this critical time. There is some confusion about the warning icon at the top of the screen that requests permission to sync data with government servers. The "Tested positive for COVID-19" button appears enabled when it should not be. Please address this issue to prevent confusion among users.

    The app is great, but I have a suggestion. Right now, it only shows recent contacts and their status. It would be so helpful if we could also see the locations where users came into contact with high-risk patients. This way, we can identify places with a high risk of infection and stay safe by avoiding them. I'm not sure if this feature is doable though.
