aCalendar - Calendar scheduling & planner

So this developer created a really cool calendar that you can adjust in many ways. I feel it was okay that most customizations were free, except for changing the main color. You can buy an unlock or the whole package for a good price. This calendar beats Google's basic one by far. I am quite fussy about my calendars; I need blocks for events, continuous blocks for events, and weekends shaded out. I totally recommend it. Maybe they could consider letting us change the number of rows on the calendar.

The pop-up event windows in the month view are still not consistent in size, with some being too big. They do look more modern now though. Also, if you have multiple entries, random events will expand in the pop-up based on where you tap. When you long press, you get a list of times instead of the editor, which isn't very helpful. The app has a useful copy feature, earning it an extra star. Overall, it could be a great app for power users, but it needs too many taps, its interface and user experience are inconsistent, and there's no companion app for WearOS. I'll pass on this one.

This calendar is the best one I've ever used. It's so easy to switch between daily, weekly, and monthly views. I would give it 5 stars, but sometimes it doesn't sync my Outlook calendar automatically. Events show up in Google Calendar fine, but I have to manually sync in aCalendar before events appear. I'm not sure if this is a phone, Google, or aCalendar issue.

It's a calendar app that syncs well with Google Calendar, allowing me to easily customize the layout to my liking. I'm particular about colors and organization in my calendar, so I opted for the ad-free version which costs $1.99. The app is so enjoyable that I don't mind paying for it.

I can't make a repeat event with the latest update. When I edit an existing repeated event, they all vanish each time, even if I just change the color. I reached out to support, but they only acknowledged the problem without offering a fix. It's frustrating and renders the app almost unusable. Sadly, my phone's calendar app can't handle repeating events either.

If you're looking to sync iCloud calendars, try SmoothSync along with aCalendar. aCalendar functions smoothly. The support team, including Matthias, is friendly and supportive. Interacting with Matthias helped me address my initial issues and understand solutions to problems other users faced. It's not flawless, but it's effective.

Discovered this app when I was attempting to view past events on Google calendar. Unfortunately, that still doesn't work there, but it works perfectly with aCalendar. I'll review it more and definitely purchase the ad-free version. Just wanted to quickly share this positive feedback because the app is really excellent.

The app had a task feature that I hoped would allow me to mark tasks as completed. But after paying $5.99 for it, I found out it was no different from a regular event. The task wouldn't show on the month widget and would disappear when reopening the agenda. Although there was a plus sign to add tasks, it didn't function. Despite these issues, I appreciated the app's customization and hoped this could be addressed. Following assistance from Wiebke, everything is working well now. Thank you!
