ACR Phone - Dialer & Spam Blocker

ACR Phone Dialer & Spam Call Blocker serves as an alternative to your standard dialer. This application is newly developed and we are continuously working on enhancements.

Privacy:

We request only essential permissions. For instance, while granting access to contacts improves functionality, the app can still operate if you choose not to allow contact permissions. Your personal information, such as contacts and call logs, is never transferred beyond your device.

Phone app:

The app showcases a sleek and modern design, offering support for a dark theme.

Blacklist / Spam blocking:

In contrast to many other applications, this feature operates offline, allowing you to create your own blocklist. You can add any unwanted numbers from call logs, the contacts list, or by entering the number manually. The blacklist offers different matching criteria including Exact or Relaxed matching, and you can set specific rules for each blocked number. This feature is fully developed and ready to utilize.

Call announcer:

The app announces the names and numbers of incoming callers, with advanced functionalities such as announcing when headphones or a Bluetooth headset is connected.

Call notes:

Add or modify notes and reminders related to calls during or after they conclude.

Backup:

Easily export or import your call logs, contacts, and the call blocking database. This feature is partially set up.

Call Log:

View and search through all your call history in a streamlined interface. This feature is fully implemented and ready to use.

Dual SIM Support:

The app supports dual SIM devices, allowing you to set a default dialing account or choose before each call.

Contacts:

A straightforward contact list that enables quick access to your contacts for dialing.

Video and photo calling screen:

Customize the calling screen for each contact with video or image options. Simply navigate to the contacts tab, select a contact, and choose Ringing Screen.

SIP Client (available on compatible devices):

Make and receive SIP calls directly within the app, using the integrated SIP client for VoIP calls over 3G or Wi-Fi.

Call Recording (available on compatible devices):

Record your calls utilizing advanced features for call recording.

Cloud Uploads:

Automatically upload recorded conversations to major cloud service providers, as well as to your personal web or FTP server.

Auto Dialer:

Effortlessly connect to busy lines by automatically redialing until the call connects.

Visual Voicemail:

Access and listen to new voicemails directly within the ACR Phone app.

Possible solutions for SIP calling issues

Update to the latest version

Make sure you have the latest version of ACR Phone. You can check updates at ACR Phone's Google Play page

App cannot connect to SIP server?

Ensure the server address, username, and password are correct. The server address should be a public IP or domain name.

If that fails, try disabling the "Enable push notifications" option in the affected SIP account.

SIP calls not connecting?

Try disabling the "Replace Via header" option under the advanced settings of the affected SIP account.

SIP call connects, but no audio at all?

Disable all codecs except PCMUA under "Audio codecs" by going to ACR Phone > Settings > SIP Accounts > [3-dot menu] > Settings.

If that fails, try changing the "Audio devices" setting to "OpenSL ES" by navigating to ACR Phone > Settings > SIP Accounts > [3-dot menu] > Settings.

SIP call connects, but no incoming audio?

Try disabling the "Replace Via header" option under the advanced settings of the affected SIP account.

If that fails, disable "Voice Activity Detection (VAD)" by going to ACR Phone > Settings > SIP Accounts > [3-dot menu] > Settings.

Note: You may need to disable "Voice Activity Detection (VAD)" if "Enable push notifications" is activated and "Replace Via header" is disabled.

Poor SIP call audio quality?

Reorder the codecs, placing higher-quality codecs at the top of the "Audio codecs" list. You can do this by going to ACR Phone > Settings > SIP Accounts > [3-dot menu] > Settings.

App draining battery too quickly?

Enable the "Enable push notifications" option for each SIP account.

Incoming SIP calls do not wake the phone?

Disable "Battery optimization" by going to ACR Phone > Settings > SIP Accounts > [3-dot menu] > Troubleshooting.

If that fails, grant the "Exact Alarm" permission by going to ACR Phone > Settings > SIP Accounts > [3-dot menu] > Troubleshooting.
