Returns + Exchanges FAQ

1. Is there a time limit on returns?

If you're not completely happy with a purchase, it can be returned for a full refund within 30 days of purchase date, or returned for merchandise credit within 60 days. No returns will be accepted after 60 days.Purchased your items online? We’ll give you an additional 7 days to make your return.

For purchases made online or in stores between Nov. 1, 2024 and Dec. 24, 2024, you have until Jan. 12, 2025 or 30 days after the purchase date to make your return, whichever is later.

2. Are there any return exceptions?

Merchandise must be returned in the country where purchased, with your original proof of purchase. If you don't have proof of purchase, you can exchange your item(s) for a different size. Returned items must be unworn, unwashed, and undamaged, with all labels and tags attached and hygienic liners in place for swimsuits and underwear.

If there appears to be fraud or abuse, we may not accept your return.

Afterpay FAQ

1. What is Afterpay?

Afterpay is a service that allows you to shop now and pay later in four installments made every two weeks without any interest.

2. How do I use Afterpay?

Simply shop online and add items to your shopping bag, then check out as normal. At checkout, choose Afterpay as your payment method. If you’re a first-time customer, you’ll need to register with Afterpay and provide payment details. If you’re a returning customer, you’ll just log in as usual to make your purchase. It’s that easy! Please note, all items in your shopping bag must be eligible for payment with Afterpay and the total amount due must be between $35 and $2,000.

3. Where can I use Afterpay?

Afterpay can be applied only to purchases made on the AE.com website. Afterpay cannot be used as a form of payment for purchases made in any of our store locations.

Real Rewards FAQ

1. How do I earn a reward?

For every 1,250 points earned, you’re eligible for a $5 reward! These rewards are issued in $5 increments, from an initial $5 up to a $60! Based on your points, it’s possible to receive more than one dollar-off reward at a time.

2. When will I get my reward?

Rewards are automatically generated and usually issued at least monthly. You should typically receive your reward within 7 days after you reach 1,250 points. Rewards are sent directly to your email address, so make sure your email address on file is up-to-date! You can also access your rewards by logging into your account at ae.com or via the AE + Aerie App.
