Aiwit - Home security monitoring

You have the Aiwit V4 video doorbell. It was connected to your router for a while then it just stopped connecting. You've tried resetting the router, changing the batteries in the doorbell, and reinstalling the app. You did these things one by one and also all at once. When setting it up again, you were able to scan the QR code but it couldn't locate the router.

Let me tell you about this video doorbell. It does work, but that's pretty much it. The app stops you from watching saved videos unless you pay for their costly cloud services, even if you have a micro SD card. It feels like they promised something else and now they're doing something different. Why give an option for micro SD storage if you can't use it? Aiwit needs to do something about this: stick to their promises, make cloud fees way cheaper, or they might end up bankrupt. I say, steer clear of this product!

Oh no, watch out! I've been using this product since 2020. It had its good times and bad times, but recently it's just been disappointing. In the beginning, they offered us free cloud storage for videos for a week, but then switched to a subscription model for longer storage. They reduced the free period to just three days. I tried not to get too upset about it, but now I have to pay for a subscription and they've completely removed the old free option. Plus, I'm not even allowed to go back to using my SD card for storage. Stay away from this product.

I've had this camera for a week now and I'm really disappointed with it. The camera itself and the app are not meeting my expectations at all. It seems like you really do get what you pay for. One major issue I've encountered is that if the app is not open, the camera doesn't record, which is a big problem because I usually have my phone off while I sleep. And right now, there's some noise outside my door but the video is not recording. It's frustrating how inconsistent it is. I think I'll just return it to Amazon and invest in a better one. On top of that, I was also forced to purchase cloud storage.

The latest update took away the Settings choices. Asking why? Additionally, it's not capturing when required, leading to multiple missing videos. This issue continues persisting. Over the last few months, the program has been altering our settings without consent, which is very frustrating. In the most recent update on 03-20, the firmware was just updated and now the camera is functioning properly. However, human detection was turned off yet again. Please refrain from changing our settings without seeking permission! As of the update on 03-23, the device is showing as Offline and refuses to connect.
