When will my funds be available?

The time it takes for transfers to process will depend on the type of transfer and which accounts the money is being sent to and from.

The times below are estimates based on Albert’s processing times. There may be additional factors that delay posting your transfer, which can include your external’s bank’s policies or our own fraud prevention policies.

Transfers between Albert Cash and external bank accounts

Transfers between Cash and external bank accounts are completed via ACH transfer, a bank-to-bank transfer. Estimated time to securely process transfers between Albert Cash and an external bank account:

- Deposits: 5–6 business days (excluding weekends and holidays)

- Withdrawals: 2–3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays)

Setting up direct deposit with your Albert Cash account can help reduce your ACH transfer processing times to 2–3 business days.

Transfers between Albert Savings and external bank accounts

Transfers between Savings and external bank accounts are completed via ACH transfer, a bank-to-bank transfer. Estimated time to securely process transfers between Albert Savings and an external bank account:

- Deposits: 5–6 business days (excluding weekends and holidays)

- Withdrawals: 2–3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays)

Transfers between Albert Investing and external bank accounts

Transfers between Investing and external bank accounts are completed via ACH transfer, a bank-to-bank transfer. Estimated time to securely process transfers between Albert Investing and an external bank account:

- Deposits: 5–8 business days (excluding weekends and holidays)

- Withdrawals: 2–3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays)

- Funds from sales take 2 business days to settle before they can be withdrawn.

For security purposes, deposits made into your Albert Investing account include an additional 5 business day holding period before they can be withdrawn.

Transfers between Albert products

In most cases, transfers between Albert accounts are available immediately.

Direct deposit

If you have direct deposit set up with Albert, your paycheck will be posted as soon as we receive it from your payroll provider.

You may have access to your paycheck up to 2 days early compared to other banks. Read more about how early pay works here.

Business days and ACH transfers

ACH transfers are bank-to-bank transfers. Meaning, that they are transferred between Albert and your externally linked bank account. These transfers are processed through the Automated Clearing House (ACH) Network.

Transfers made over ACH are processed on weekdays and business days (when banks are open), and are not processed on weekends or federal holidays. The time it takes to process your transfer can be extended due to processing times that are over weekends, federal holidays, or any other additional holding periods.

Business days typically include:

- Weekdays, Monday through Friday

Business days exclude:

- Weekends, Saturday and Sunday

- Federal holidays

    The app is terrible. They do illegal things. They take your money and won't let you remove your bank account. They ask for personal details when you try to change settings. I get charged for things I didn't agree to. It's not easy to close your account. They make you agree to automatic transfers, and then you can't delete the account after a transfer. Don't download it.

    Awesome when everything goes smoothly, but sometimes it doesn't recognize my bank accounts due to lack of history or verified paychecks, despite using the same account for over 2 years with regular deposits from my past two jobs. Just needs a few adjustments. The quick advances are great and I can pick where the money goes. If they fix it so that I can access the advance instantly after repaying, then it'll definitely deserve a top rating!

    Albert's service has been really good for me. At first, there seemed to be a problem with the algorithm tracking my income deposits because the dates were wrong. But now, it looks like that issue has been resolved. Lately, I've been relying on Albert to help me manage my income gaps, and it's been working well. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the service.

    The app is good for transferring money and accessing another account. However, the Genius pop-up is irritating. I always have trouble logging in because of the pop-up asking me to sign up for Genius without an exit button. I got the subscription by accident once because of this issue. I should be able to skip this feature if I don't want it. Canceling the service is also needlessly complicated.

    I think this app is really cool! It can be tough to lend money to others, especially without looking at their credit history. But I feel like the rules for borrowing are a bit too strict. Also, the amount you can borrow changes too often, even if you always earn the same amount. Despite these small issues, this app is fantastic for managing your money and is much better than other apps that do similar things. Albert Instant is so good, and Genius is just incredible!

    It was a good app that helped to get quick advances. The interface and advances are the same, but the structure has changed. Now, you have to pay $15/month in addition to the fee for an instant advance. When you open the app for the first time, you must start with a subscription trial. You are forced to activate features you might not need to get an advance. Please make these optional like they were before.

    The app is really good. I use Albert Guiness in it to monitor my expenses. I also manage my subscriptions through it and get alerts if any of my bills change. Moreover, there is a savings feature where $25 is automatically deposited from my account to save for me. I can allocate this saving to various goals. I suggest using this app as it has helped me stay organized with my money.

    Initially, I loved this app a lot and rated it 5 stars. I used to receive advances without any issues whenever I needed one. It was one of the best apps for getting advances that I had come across. I just wish the advance amounts were higher. However, recently the app has been showing me as ineligible for an advance ever since I paid back the last one. I reached out to customer support but all they keep saying is that once Albert reviews my account, I will become eligible again. They asked me to wait for 2 business days. It has been 2 weeks now and the issue is still unresolved. So, until it gets fixed, I'm only giving it 2 stars.
