* Weekly ALDI Finds Updates: Stay up-to-date by accessing each week's ALDI Finds with just a simple click.

* Create a Shopping List: Use our convenient shopping list tool to compile your list of essential items.

* Store Locator: Easily locate nearby ALDI stores from your current position – complete with address, directions, map, and store hours.

* QR Code Reader: Utilize our QR Code Reader to access special content on select favorite items.

Permissions

* Network communication: This permission is utilized for retrieving current Special Buys and the latest store data. User information is not shared, except when using the e-mail reminder service. See our data protection policy for more details.

* Network communication: A connectivity check is performed before fetching the most recent information. If a connection is not available, a notification is displayed.

* System boot: Previously, reminders set via the app were deleted upon smartphone reboot. This new permission ensures reminders are re-registered after each reboot.

* Access to protected storage: Enables the ALDI USA app to permit Google Maps to cache maps without directly accessing external storage media.

* Approximate location: The ALDI USA app initially attempts to determine your location by other means for Store Locator functionality instead of GPS for better performance.

* Your location: GPS location is necessary for Store Locator functionality.

* Hardware controls (pictures/videos, vibration alarm, flash/light): Augmented reality displays nearest stores. QR codes on products can be scanned using the "QR Code Reader" feature.
