I think this free app is fantastic! It works perfectly on my Pixel as a viewer and my Fire HD as a recorder. It's great for when I have to be away for a few days and want to keep an eye on my pets. I especially love that it includes motion detection, all within the free app! The only thing I wish for is the option to make a one-time purchase to support the developer. I only use the app around twice a year for short periods, so a subscription doesn't really appeal to me (plus, I'm not looking for any additional features). However, I would gladly pay around $5 just to show my appreciation.

You can't watch the event clips without subscribing, which is a total bummer. I wouldn't recommend it at all, zero stars from me.

So, compared to other apps that sometimes crash and freeze the video without giving any simple solution for fixing it other than having to restart the whole app, which can be really annoying when you're not near the camera. But, with Alfred Camera, I have never experienced a crash since the first time I opened it and set it up. It took me less than 60 seconds to get everything ready, and I have not had any problems at all. Setting up motion detection and other features is a breeze. If you want a quick and easy solution that you can set up and start using within a minute, this is the perfect choice.

So, I used to love this app, it was so awesome. But now, I ended up buying two of their cameras which only work with their own app - Alfred. And on top of that, dealing with all those annoying pop-up ads inside the app is just making things harder for me. I mean, c'mon, I’ve already spent money on the actual cameras, so why should I have to pay again just for a smoother and more user-friendly experience in the app? I get it, having some ads is fine, but those constant pop-ups are just too much.

Hey, just wanted to share an update - so I tried out this free security camera app but it turned out to be pretty useless. It records a video when something happens, like an event, and then lets you know about it. However, here's the catch - you can't actually watch the recording unless you pay for a subscription. How frustrating, right? But after digging around for a good free security camera app, I finally stumbled upon one that actually works pretty well. The motion detection feature is on point - it even picks up movements as subtle as my cat roaming around in the mirror's reflection, which is pretty impressive. Plus, it allows you to easily record videos and can also detect when someone walks into the viewing range, automatically turning off the motion detector. Pretty neat, don't you think?

Sounds like you had a positive experience with this app in the past but recently they've ramped up their push for subscriptions. The free version seems limited now, especially on mobile. It's understandable to feel pressured to upgrade or try another service that's completely free. However, after giving it some thought, you felt that paying $30 for a year of premium services was worth it. And guess what? The premium version actually works really well - no bugs or weird issues. The app is pretty much flawless. Plus, you're getting access to cool features like zones, scheduling, and AI detections with the premium plan. That definitely adds value.

I really enjoy it. At first, I needed a few minutes to get the hang of it and understand how to switch between the camera and viewer so that I was looking at the right feed on my phone. But now that I've figured it out, I think it's awesome. Great job! Update: Alfred Camera has improved a lot! It's now easier and quicker to set up, it records continuously, and saves the videos on your device for you to watch later. The motion activation seems more reliable, and there's even a loud siren feature. Fantastic job on the upgrade!

So, here's the deal - this app was running smoothly on my trusty old Android 4.2.2 phones for over 2 years. Then out of nowhere, they rolled out a software update that ended up disabling all the cameras. Like seriously, what's the point of having an old phone if the software isn't going to be compatible anymore, right? I thought everything was all good, but then just last week, I decided to do a trial run with 50 cameras and even bought an additional 500. And guess what? All the older phones went offline! They are still streaming videos but I can't even log in. I mean, I believed they had everything under control, but clearly not. The lesson here is simple: if it ain't broken, don't try to fix it.

I just wanted to talk about my worries about the Alfred security app. As someone who has been using it for quite a while, I've really noticed that its performance has gone downhill lately. I've been facing issues like the app crashing a lot, notifications coming in late, and struggling to access the live feed from my security cameras. It's been getting harder for me to keep an eye on my home and make sure everything is safe because of these problems.
