A multifunctional, multiversion, free, and ad-free Alkitab application

Various translations of Alkitab. Featuring various versions of Alkitab translations in Indonesian and regional/dialect languages, original Bible languages (Greek/Hebrew), and other foreign languages. Simply download once, then read offline.

Search function. Quickly search words and phrases with advanced capabilities. Discover verses through a variety of search options.

Comparative Versions. Compare displayed versions of Alkitab translations with a dual 'split screen' view. Easily study the word of God in multiple languages on one screen.

Cross References. Find related verses interconnected within the Alkitab (for some versions of Alkitab translations).

Notes. Create personal notes on any selected verse. The written verse in notes will become a clickable link to open that particular verse.

History. Contains a list of previously accessed verses. Recently read verses are marked and can be quickly revisited.

Bookmarks, Labels, and Traces. Different types of bookmarks available—Bookmark the verses you are reading; you can also create your own personal topic system.

Sync. Ensure your bookmarks, personal notes, highlights, labels, and other data are safe by enabling Sync. With Sync, if you have more than one device, your data will be accessible from all devices.

Dig Deeper. Integrated with Interpretation, Guide, Dictionary, and Biblical Map applications, you can study the Alkitab more deeply.

Copy/Share Verses. Copy verses and share them via various methods (SMS, email, Bluetooth, Facebook, Twitter, and other social media platforms).

Daily Devotional. Read daily devotionals from various sources and deepen your understanding of the word of God.

Reading Plans. Choose from various schedules/methods/plans, and read the Alkitab daily according to specified chapters/pericopes/verses. You can also create your own plan.

Hymnals. Lyrics from 15+ Singing/Praise books. Some are equipped with 'Play' to listen to music/songs online.

Appearance/Settings. Customize the Alkitab display according to your preferences—screen, font, size, and color. Dark/night mode and full-screen options are also available.

Widgets. Get refreshment from selected verses daily through widgets on your home screen.

Guide for Users

Devotion

Daily devotions are available from different sources. Open the left drawer menu then navigate to Devotion to read devotions. Please note that this requires a stable internet connection. The availability of devotions may be limited by the source provider.

While in the devotion page, you may open the left drawer menu to change devotions, change the day or redownload the devotion if any errors occurred. Currently, there is 1 devotion available for the Quick Bible App, but some of the ones available on the Alkitab App are:

Reminder

Reminders are available for your convenience. They are available by tapping on the clock-shaped icon on the top right. There are 4 settings available on the reminder page:

    Alarm: Set a time for the alarm to go off

    Sound: Change the alarm's ringtone

    Vibrate: Turn vibration on/off

    Reminder Message: Set a message to appear when the alarm rings

Copy and Share

You may copy and share Bible verses/devotions/notes to other platforms using files, SMSs, apps or other media.

Version name

The copy and share function include the Bible version name. Navigate to Settings -> Copy and Share to customize the sharing options.

Share URL

A link will be generated when you copy/share verses. This ensures that the verse will use the same Bible version as the one that you are viewing. If you wish to not use links, navigate to Settings -> Copying and Sharing and disable the "Share URL" option.

Search function

Tap the search icon on the top bar to open a search page that can search for anything in the Bible.

If you want to search for something specific, you can filter your range to specific books by tapping the icon shaped like a book on the right.

Searching for an exact word/phrase

If you type Son of God, all verses which contains either Son, of, or God will appear as results, even if the words are not consecutive. If you type just, you will also receive results with justice, justified etc. Surround phrases with quotation marks to search for exact phrases. Use a plus symbol (+) right before a word to search for the exact word. E.g. Type +sin to search for the exact word "sin". Do not include spaces between the plus sign and the word.

FAQ

1. What if I find errors in Bible app?

Please send us a report! For mistakes in the Bible text, please include the location, Bible version and the correct text in your report.

2. Can more Bible translations/versions be added onto this app?

Yes! You can import any external Bible versions in .pdb/.yes format and immediately start reading.

3. Can the app include Bible commentaries and a dictionary too?

Unfortunately, we only have the source files for those in Indonesian right now. Rest assured, as soon as we are able to obtain those in English, we will do our best to include them.
