What do I do if my app is crashing or I’m receiving system error messages?

If your app is crashing or you are receiving any of these error messages:

- Service is currently unavailable

- Sorry, unfortunately Allstate has stopped

- Stuck on 'Retrieving Data'

Please try the following:

- Close the app.

- Restart your device.

- Check for software updates.

- Check for App Update.

- Finally, if none of the above resolves the issue, reinstall the app.

Why can’t I see my new policy in the mobile app?

If you have recently purchased your policy (within the last 24-48 hours) or if your policy has an effective date in the future, it may still be processing and won’t be available to view.

If your policy continues not to show, contact your agent or chat with a representative for assistance.

Where can I see what I owe in the mobile app?

You can see the amount you owe for each policy on the "Overview" screen in the "My Bills" section on the Allstate mobile app.

What is the Crash Detection feature and how does it work?

Crash detection is a free safety feature within the Allstate® mobile app. When the app detects that you may have been in a major collision, we'll send you a notification through the Allstate® mobile app to offer help.

Crash detection technology relies on sensors in your smartphone to detect major collisions when the vehicle is moving at least 25 mph. It won't detect low-impact accidents like fender-benders or being rear-ended.

**Caution: Not all states accept electronic proof of insurance by law enforcement or DMVs.
