Amazon Prime Video - Stream & watch shows

I've been loving Amazon Prime Video lately! They've got a fantastic variety of movies, TV series, and even sports content. I'm really impressed with their original series like Jack Ryan, Reacher, and Bosch - they're seriously top-notch. And the best part is you can download shows to watch offline, which comes in handy when you're without WiFi. Plus, I'm thrilled that they offer live sports like ONE Fighting Championship and NFL games. It's great how they cater to such a diverse range of interests.

Man, trying to get around this app is a nightmare. And get this - I actually pay for it, but the ads are just as terrible. And when I watch videos in vertical mode, instead of taking up the whole screen, they insist on showing all this extra info that I don't even want to see! It's like, come on, I just wanna watch my videos in peace. Another thing is, the playback is so annoying because it only lets me see 10 at a time. Seriously, Amazon video needs to step up their game, it's just not cutting it.

So everything was going smoothly with the app, no issues at all. But then it got updated recently, and now when I try to watch movies or shows, only the audio plays while the screen stays blank. I attempted to fix it by logging out and back in, but no luck there. Next, I uninstalled the app, reinstalled it, and logged in again, but unfortunately, the problem persisted. I was quite pleased before, almost giving it a 5-star rating. However, this issue is making me think about cancelling my subscription to Amazon Prime Video.

Oh, I really love using Prime Video! You know what would make it even better? If there was an option to mark a whole season as unwatched and have a feature that lets me see my watch history. Sometimes when I finish a series, it disappears from my list and then I have to search for it again, which can be a hassle. It would be so convenient to just have a section where I can easily view my watch history. Also, it would be great if they moved the "Skip Intro" button to the top because sometimes I accidentally skip to the end of the video when I miss tapping on the small "Skip Intro" text at the bottom.

I've found that the streaming interface on Amazon Prime is really great. Even though I have a free Paramount+ account through my Walmart+ subscription, I actually choose to pay for it as an add-on channel on Amazon Prime because the regular Paramount+ app tends to be buggy and difficult to use. The good thing with Amazon Prime is that you can add on so many different channels, giving you almost endless options. I also enjoy the X-Ray content feature that they offer.

I sometimes struggle to find good movies or shows that don't have annoying ads or only show a few. It can be a bit tough, but there are some out there if you search well. Many international films aren't dubbed, which adds to the challenge. Freeves has an overwhelming amount of ads, so I hardly watch anything on that streaming service. Also, many of the movies and shows listed from Prime on Google require a subscription or rental fee. It can feel like quite a task to find something I truly want to watch. But when I do find a good one, I'm really happy about it.
