The Amazon Shopper Panel is a voluntary, invitation-only initiative that allows participants to earn monthly rewards by sharing receipts from purchases made outside Amazon.com, completing brief surveys, and enabling ad verification for ads they encounter, whether from Amazon or third-party advertisers using Amazon Ads.

Getting rewarded is straightforward. Every month, you can upload valid receipts via the Amazon Shopper Panel app by taking photos of paper receipts or by forwarding email receipts to the designated address. In return, you can earn up to $10, which can be applied to your Amazon Balance or donated to a charity. Additional rewards are available each month for every survey participated in or if you activate ad verification. Participation may be restricted, and eligibility might vary according to different components of the program. To check your eligibility, simply navigate to the sections on Receipts, Surveys, and Ads within the app.

Your involvement aids brands in improving their products and enhances the relevance of Amazon ads.

Participation in the Amazon Shopper Panel is entirely optional, and users may discontinue using the app, sharing receipts, filling out surveys, or allowing ad verification at any point. Amazon only receives information that users consciously choose to share through the Shopper Panel, like details gathered from uploaded receipts (such as product or retailer names), responses from surveys, or ads they've encountered.

Utilization of VpnService: If you activate the ad verification option, the Amazon Shopper Panel will use Android's VpnService to establish a Virtual Private Network (VPN) connection. While the app won't actually install a VPN on your device, it does leverage VPN permissions to set up an Amazon DNS, which enables Amazon to gather and make use of data regarding the ads displayed to you. This may pertain to both Amazon's advertisements and those from third-party companies that advertise through Amazon Ads. Setting up the Amazon DNS is not mandatory for other features of the Amazon Shopper Panel. You have the option to deactivate ad verification whenever you choose.

The Amazon Shopper Panel is accessible to a select group of Amazon customers in the US. If you've received an invitation, you can download the app now. For those who haven't been invited but are interested, downloading the app will allow you to join the waitlist, and you will receive notifications via email should spots open up.

By utilizing this app, you consent to the established Conditions of Use and the specific terms and conditions related to the Amazon Shopper Panel as detailed within the app.

If you desire to delete just your data from the Amazon Shopper Panel or opt out of the program, you can do so within the app.

To submit a request for closing your Amazon account, please follow the relevant instructions provided within the application. Please note that proceeding with this request will result in losing access to all associated products and services linked to the closed account, including the Amazon Shopper Panel.

The Amazon Shopper Panel is available in the US, the UK, Canada, Germany, France, Spain and Japan. If you are moving to a country where Amazon Shopper Panel is unavailable, then you will no longer be able to use Amazon Shopper Panel app. If you are moving to a country where Amazon Shopper Panel is available, please contact customer support to have your account updated. What if I received an invitation, but am being asked to join the waitlist after signing in?

If you received an invitation to join the Amazon Shopper Panel, you must sign into the app using the same email address associated with the invited Amazon.com account. If you are using an Android device and are signed into other Amazon apps using a different Amazon.com account, you will need to sign out of the Amazon Shopper Panel app and then sign back in using the invited Amazon.com account. Note, invitations expire after 30 days.

Do I need to participate in all Amazon Shopper Panel activities to earn rewards?

No. You choose how you want to participate in the Amazon Shopper Panel. You can choose to share only receipts, survey responses, information about the ads you see from Amazon, or any combination of the three. Space is limited and you may only be eligible to participate in certain parts of the program.

How do I choose my reward?

You will be asked to choose a reward when you first log in to the Amazon Shopper Panel. Amazon Balance is the default selection. You can change your reward up until 11:59 PM PST on the last day of the month. On the Rewards tab, tap Change Reward and then choose your reward type for the current month. Once the month ends, you can’t change the reward type for the previous month, but you are able to change it for current and future months. Your selection applies to rewards earned by uploading eligible receipts, completing surveys, and enabling ad verification. You can only choose one type of reward per month.

Can I download receipt images?

Yes. To download a receipt, first go to the specific receipt from either the recent receipts list or your receipt history. The Download option is within the menu in the top right corner of the receipt’s details. You can view your receipts on the Amazon Shopper Panel app for at least 12 months. Receipt images are retained for up to 13 months. Uploaded receipt images are not stored on your device unless you choose to download them.

Easy money goes right to your Amazon account. Just snap a few receipts. No problems getting paid. You can either keep the cash or donate it. The app works well, but tracking your funds can be a bit tricky. Instead of checking the app, I just look at my Amazon account. A few free bucks for scanning receipts sounds good, right? Give it a shot. No risk in trying!

Absolutely, a flat rate for receipts sounds great. The app though? That's where the trouble begins. Updates have turned the screen into a jumble. Words cut off, letters scattered all over the place. Money values show up as just one lonely number. Frustrating when the app freezes because a receipt gets too long and needs another shot. Before, pictures that passed without issue are now rejected as unreadable. It's a mess. The Google Rewards app does its job way better.

Scan ten receipts a month and earn $10! You can also rack up more points with surveys. I use "Fetch Rewards" too. Most products give 25 points unless they offer higher rewards. When you reach 10,000 points, that’s $10. Simple math there. My love for Amazon started when it was just an online bookstore. It keeps impressing me more and more! Thank you, Amazon!

The latest update has turned this app into a hassle. The intro pops up every time I open it. I already know how to use it, so seeing that again is annoying. Using the camera has become a struggle too. It won’t focus and freezes up. I often have to cancel and start over several times. This app used to be great and easy to navigate. Now it feels frustrating.

Getting accepted brings a nice little bonus every month. It took me a couple of months to get the green light. Just snap ten pictures of receipts and upload them for five bucks. Occasionally, there are quick surveys that pay fifty pence. Plus, there's a couple of quid for ads, but I don’t really notice that much. Setting up the VPN is straightforward. The interface feels a bit clunky, but it gets the job done. Sometimes I wonder if the VPN messes with my internet speed, though.

Forget about downloading this app. It’s constantly glitchy and the payouts have dropped significantly. After a few years of using it, I’m done contributing because the rewards just aren’t worth it anymore. Submitting a grocery receipt used to bring in decent returns, but now it barely nets $0.15. That’s not enough. What once took ten receipts to meet my monthly goal now requires around 65. It’s simply not worth the time or effort.

There's a fantastic app that lets you earn money by snapping photos of your receipts. You buy something, take a picture, and watch the credits roll in. Recently, things changed quite a bit. Now, most receipt scans bring in only 10 cents each. That’s a big difference from the previous dollar per receipt. To make $10 now means scanning 100 receipts instead of just 10. It feels less rewarding, especially considering how much these big companies profit from our data.

A few years back, downloading that app felt like finding a treasure. Earning $10 every month was a breeze. Just snap any receipt, and boom! Money in the account. Then things shifted. Some receipts faced rejection, and the value dropped to $1 for each accepted one. I understood why. Now, the landscape has changed even more. The value of receipts varies based on the type of business. With this new setup, my earnings plummeted. I’d be lucky to scrape together $3.50 a month now, counting that extra $2 from ad tracking. Crazy math here—67 receipts at just $0.15 each would equal $10. It used to take only 10 receipts to reach that same goal. Quite a turn of events, right?

The new camera system drives me crazy. I keep restarting the app because I get that annoying pop-up about receipts even when it's clearly a receipt. The old method was so much better. And don't get me started on the payout change last month. It's just frustrating. I dropped my rating to 2 stars from 5. It used to be fantastic. Scanning receipts was an easy way to rack up $10 for my Amazon gift card. Really helped me out, especially when I was unemployed.

The effort just doesn't pay off anymore. They altered the value of the receipts, and everything changed. I used to bring in about $12 a month by sending in 10 receipts and letting them monitor my DNS activity. Last month? I did everything just like before and only saw around $4. That barely scratches the surface of my Prime membership costs. What a letdown.
