I have a visual impairment and sensitivity to light, which makes it challenging for me to read text, especially on my phone. I mostly use a Bluetooth keyboard to navigate my device. Ideally, I was looking for a solution that would indicate my current position on the page and provide easy access to the read-aloud option. However, the current feature only allows me to read all the content or none at all. Additionally, there is no option to save custom configurations, so if I disable the feature, everything reverts to the default settings.

Hello, we extend warm greetings to all the dedicated teams working on Speech Recognition and Synthesis at Google. We are delighted to share that, thanks to numerous requests and discussions with your teams, a voice in the Oriya language has been introduced. However, we believe there is room for improvement in the pronunciation of this voice. Therefore, we kindly request an update to enhance the clarity of Oriya pronunciation in India. We appreciate your attention to this matter. Thank you.

I rate this app with 3 stars, a good rating for me. I appreciate the introduction of new customizable gestures, especially as someone transitioning from iOS. An observation is that Talkback struggles with processing large amounts of text, causing delays in reading content like emails. I suggest enhancing the app's performance to ensure smoother operation, especially on devices like the Cat S22, tailored for visually impaired users with its physical keyboard and touchscreen. Despite Talkback slowing down the device, Android as an OS has made significant strides and is commendable. Resolving this persistent issue will further elevate the functionality of Talkback. Your attention to this matter is greatly anticipated for a more efficient user experience.
