Android System Intelligence - Phone performance optimization

Oh man, I had my phone hacked and one of the apps that got messed with was this spyware thing. I tried doing a factory reset to get rid of it, but no luck. My Samsung Galaxy S21+ had a pretty good anti-virus and I even had a VPN, but it just wasn't enough. Those hackers got full control of my phone and could even sneak into other devices through the Wi-Fi connection. It's like they opened the door to all sorts of trouble, like stealing my identity and causing major security issues. And even if you try to tighten up security, those sneaky hackers can easily find a way back in if they already got access once. Such a nightmare!

Oh no, I won't update if it's just optimizations and bug fixes. It's my phone, so I want more detailed explanations before any changes are made. I'm not updating. They said I can disable permissions in settings, but no, the app doesn't exist. I can't uninstall it either, it's major bloatware. No updates as of April 2, 2022.

It's amazing how having an easy access icon in the corner of my screen can really make a difference for me. My phone's been acting up since I updated to Android 14 this morning. All the apps keep crashing, and now even texting is a problem because of some issue with AI. I'm pretty upset about it since I was looking forward to using the new features. Hopefully, they'll fix these bugs soon with an update.

So, I turned off all permissions for this app on my phone. But guess what? The sneaky app managed to activate all its permissions again! I even tried setting it to ask for permission every time, but nope, same thing happened. It refuses to delete its data or cache. Even when I uninstall and reinstall the app, it magically reappears with over 200kb of data and more in the cache. And you know what's really weird? I've noticed that anything related to Samsung, Android, Google, or Meta consumes a ton of background data even when I've turned off their permissions. It's making me feel quite uneasy, to be honest.

The android experience is perfectly okay without everything on your phone being watched and shared with Google systems. The advantages are quite small while the downside is significant. Even regular users are noticing some unsettling actions. I've turned off most permissions which helps a bit, but now I'm considering LineageOS to fully remove Google from my phone. :(

Hey Todd VanHarren and Google! I have something to say about this "app" for our phones. If you think people don't know their phones well and this app is necessary, maybe you should consider this: why isn't it part of the AndroidOS kernel stack? There are probably a bunch of reasons you aren't aware of, so it's worth asking why. It's important to question things instead of just blindly accepting them like you seem to be doing. Being curious and questioning is a good trait for humans, so let's not overlook that!
