Android System WebView - Web page rendering

So, my apps and Google widget were crashing a lot today. After looking into it, people said the solution was to uninstall a particular app. I followed their advice, and it worked! I had already tried everything else like clearing memory, storage, cache and restarting my phone many times. I won't reinstall that app for sure. It's quite worrying when these things happen as it makes you think about getting a new phone. Some people probably just upgrade instead of fixing the problem.

I read some reviews and got nervous. But updating was actually easy. I had issues with updates before because my VPN was too good. I only found out later that it was causing the problem. I regret paying for NordVPN in advance for 3 years to get a discount because now I'm not happy with it. When updates don't work, my VPN is usually the culprit. Just pause it and try again.

After the update on April 26, 2021, I can't open my news feed articles. My phone freezes when texting or trying to watch a video. These issues never happened before the update. I don't believe the update solved any bugs, it actually created more that I'd rather not deal with.

You're not alone in this. It seems like there's an issue with updating Play Store and other apps. Sometimes when you try to update them, they just stay pending. I've also seen a few apps that were uninstalled still showing up for updates. When I hit cancel on them, everything freezes and either the Google Play App crashes or my screen locks up. I've tried clearing caches, restarting my phone, and even turning it off for a few minutes. But even after all that, when I turn my phone back on and try to update again, it still shows as "Pending Install mode." 😤🤬😡

Before, gave this app a rating of 1 out of 5 stars. But after the latest update, the speed and battery life have greatly improved. If something's working fine, no need to make changes. Google, keep this new update as it is. Whenever you update, it slows down phones and drains the battery, only to fix it in later updates. The pattern repeats. Keep things as they are, and if you really need to update for security reasons, test it first on different versions of Android devices. Appreciate it!
