Get started right away with pre-made flashcards. Anki App comes with a collection of public flashcard decks built-in.

If you’ve previously used the AnkiWeb service (not affiliated) to store flashcards, we can import from there too.

For content from other sources, we provide a service to load flashcards from spreadsheets in CSV format, which many tools can produce.

Rich Content Creation

Anki App lets you make your own flashcards, on any device. Creating cards is as easy as typing what you want on the front and back of each card. In addition to plain text, you can add images and sound* to your flashcards (*at the moment, sounds must be added using the web client—coming soon to other clients).

When you’re ready to get more advanced, Anki App lets you create "custom layouts" to present multiple fields of information, styled with HTML and CSS.

Cloud Access

Anki App seamlessly synchronizes to the cloud, so you can create flashcards on one device, and then study on another.

In addition, your AnkiApp account grants you free access to our web client. It works on any computer running the latest Chrome, Edge, or Opera browsers.

Rapidly Improving

We have big plans for the future, but we're open to feedback along the way, and our users give us plenty. We balance suggestions against the simplicity and focus of the product; not every one makes the cut, but we have incorporated many of the ideas we've been given.

How to I change the font or font size of my cards using the rich text editor?

Under AnkiApp Settings, enable the option "Enable advanced rich editor text controls".

Can I change the order of my flashcards?

Yes. AnkiApp lets you choose from a variety of Review Modes. You can find this setting on the Deck screen and change it independently for each deck you study.

AnkiApp Advanced SRS is the default and recommended mode. This mode chooses what order to show you flashcards in based on your past performance, repeating cards you need more work on, while introducing new ones over time automatically.

Random Shuffle randomizes the order of cards you see.

In Created Order shows you cards in the order they were created.
