How to Join Discord Server Voice Channels From PS5 console?
To access the Game Base on your PS5, start by pressing the PlayStation button on your controller to open the Control Center. If you previously hid the Game Base from your Control Center, you can easily add it back by pressing the Options button and customizing your Control Center settings.
Next, select the new "Discord" option in the Game Base! You should recognize the icon easily. Once you choose it, you'll see a list of all the servers you belong to, along with options to browse your DMs and Group DMs!
Select a server and take a look to see who is already in a voice channel. If you want to join in, simply hit Join, and just like that—BOOM! You’re connected.
It's much simpler now, and you won't need any extra devices! However, if you still prefer the classic method of joining a call by transferring it from Discord on your desktop or mobile, that option remains available. You might even spot the transfer button in Discord and think, "OH YEAH, I can do that!" Having options is always a plus, right?
How to Join Discord Voice in a DM or Group DM From Your PS5 console?
Joining a Discord DM call from your PS5 console is quite similar to joining a server's voice channel, but it requires one additional button press that we'll bold below. Remember, you need to link your PlayStation Network account to Discord beforehand.
Press the PlayStation button on your DualSense wireless controller to open the Control Center and navigate to the Game Base.
In the Game Base, select the Discord option. This will display all your available servers and include an option to browse through DMs.
In the Discord menu, select Direct Voice Chats to view a list of your DMs and Group DMs, organized by the last time the conversation was active.
Finally, press Join to connect and start chatting!

How to Start a Discord Call on PS5?
Turn on your PS5.
Make sure your PS5 is active, and you have a working microphone connected to your controller.
Start a call on Discord.
Use the Discord desktop client, website, or app to begin a video call. You can join a call in a Direct Message or a community server's voice channel.
Discord chat is different from PS5's party voice chat. You can't be in both at once, so be sure to exit any party voice chat.
Transfer Voice to PS5.
On the Discord desktop client or website, click the phone and game controller icon in the voice chat window. Then, click Transfer to PlayStation.
On mobile, swipe up on the voice chat menu and tap Join on PlayStation.
Select your PS5.
Your linked PS5 should be listed. If you don't see it, tap Reload.
If you still don't see your PS5, unlink your PS5 from Discord and link it again.
Click or tap Join Call on PlayStation. This is the blue button at the bottom.
Your call will begin to transfer to your PS5.
If it's successful, you'll see Connected on PS5 in the voice chat menu.
Start talking on your PS5.
You should see the pop-up: You joined the Discord voice chat.
Press the PlayStation button on your controller to view the Discord voice chat menu.
When you're finished, you can select Leave on the PS5 Discord menu, or you can leave the chat from the desktop or mobile app.
