Creating notes in ASUS WebStorage Mobile App

The ASUS WebStorage Mobile App provides a convenient and organized way to keep track of your important thoughts, questions, and reminders with its built-in note-taking feature. You can easily save these notes as files directly in ASUS WebStorage.

Android

1. Open ASUS WebStorage Mobile App (Android).

2. Select note file storage location:

MySyncFolder: Saving your files here ensures that they will be available on all devices connected to your ASUS WebStorage account, including ASUS WebStorage for Web, desktop app, and mobile app. This option is also referred to as "synchronization." With this option, your notes will always be up-to-date and accessible no matter where you are or what device you use.

Backup > Cloud-only Files: If you choose this option, your notes will only be stored in the cloud and will not be synchronized across your devices. This option is ideal for those who prefer to have a separate backup of their files or who do not need to access their notes on multiple devices. However, it is important to keep in mind that if you only store your notes in the cloud, they will only be accessible through the ASUS WebStorage for Web or Mobile App.

3. Tap the [+] icon at the bottom right of the screen.

4. Select [Note taking].

5. A blank page will open, and you can start typing notes.

6. Tap the [Create] button at the button, and then name the file.

7. Tap [OK] to save the file in ASUS WebStorage.

The service feels low-cost and underwhelming in performance. Windows apps forget your login details since they don't register as a service on your computer. They also fail to remember uploads once the computer sleeps or shuts down. The web interface struggles, especially when it comes to uploading multiple files. It’s more suited for single file uploads, leaving multitasking users frustrated. On Android, there's no option to change storage locations, limiting you to default folders. Overall, it lacks functionality and convenience.

I tried out the app but uninstalled it after just 45 minutes. Fingers crossed they won't charge me. The interface felt complicated and not user-friendly. I uploaded a 1.5 MB video file, but playing it was really slow. Moving files to other folders seemed tricky and meant for experts. Please don’t hit my credit card with charges. Everyone messes up sometimes!

The app works for now. There’s a small issue with uploading when the phone goes into sleep mode. Downloads sometimes get stuck in the waiting status in the download queue, even with a strong cellular connection.

The app is giving me a headache. It keeps saying, “Can not connect to server! Action fail!” when I try to set a file offline. The folder always shows a 0 byte file, despite the fact that I just copied something into it. It seems like they finally fixed the copying function in this update, which was broken before. Why launch an app for a cloud storage service if basic functions aren’t working? Just a bit of reliability would go a long way!

What a frustrating experience! Google One really takes the lead here. This service just wasted my time and money. It lags all the time and crashes unexpectedly. Auto backup for videos? Not happening. Such a letdown! Asus needs to step up their game with this app.

This app feels pretty pointless. If you need folder syncing, keep looking. It only handles automatic backup for pictures. Everything else? You have to upload it by hand. Not very convenient at all.

Asus Webstorage is fantastic! Accessing my files has been smooth and syncing is a breeze. I can reach my documents anytime, anywhere. It's also great on my desktop. This app really works for me!

Cloud storage without extras. Camera upload feature was inconsistent until recently. Customer service barely exists, even if you pay for the service. I've tried reaching out many times but never got a response. Frustrated with how to upload pictures from different phones into separate files. An older version handled this well. Recent updates messed it up. As for ASUS feedback, please check your emails. I've sent numerous messages seeking help.
