How to install Athan Pro: Muslim Prayer Times on your Android device:

    My computer security software says Athan Pro is safer than other popular Athan software. It doesn't have any holes hackers can exploit. However, it is not easy to use. There is no visible volume control or option to replay the call to prayer if you missed it while away from your computer.

    The app used to be good, but now it's a mess. The notifications are messed up, I can't use the beep, and the athan doesn't even play. It takes forever to load, and then I have to deal with ads. There are too many bugs. The app frustrates me now. Please make it better.

    The app is great! I downloaded it mainly because it's compatible with my Galaxy Watch 4 Classic. But there are some areas that could use improvement: 1.It would be helpful to have more English translation choices like Muhsin Khan or Sahih International. 2.Having a vibration option for notifications for the athan would be beneficial if you need to keep your notifications volume low. 3.It would be nice to have a 12-hour time format option for wearable devices. 4.I noticed that the compass feature doesn't seem to work on the watch.

    This app has some pop-up ads, but overall it's great. I can still get notifications for Adhan even when my phone is not connected. The Qibla direction is accurate on my iPhone even without internet connection, you just need to adjust your location. I tested it on my Android phone as well, and there was a small error which might be due to my phone's calibration. Most sections like Qur'an and Adzkar can be accessed offline, but a few require an internet connection. Give it a try and hopefully you'll like this app, Insha'Allah.

    I used to have an app on my previous phone that had all the Athan reciters for free. I really liked being able to hear a 1-minute Athan. However, now on my new phone, I have to pay $6.99 to access more than 3 Athans. The three sounds available are each 3 minutes long. I wonder if this app is owned by Muslims. I hope the money collected from purchasing different Athans goes to a good cause. If you rely on this app to pray on time, it might be more effective to set an alarm on your phone. For instance, for Fajr prayer at 4:29 am, this app's Athan goes off at 5:44 am when the sun is already up. So, it's not very dependable.
