1. How to add a car to AUTO.RIA?

To place a car on AUTO.RIA, just click the "Sell a car" button. It is located in the upper right corner on all AUTO.RIA pages. After clicking, the form for adding an ad will appear.

1. Photo / Video

There is no limit on the number of uploaded photos to the ad on AUTO.RIA.

To upload an image of your car, click the green "+" button, and then select one or more files from the folder. The maximum size of one photo should not exceed 10 Mb, the formats supported by the download form are JPEG, JPG, PNG.

Please note: when adding 2-3 photos with an open state. number, the car's technical data will be filled in automatically, and AUTO.RIA will check the VIN code of your car against the registers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. If you do not wish to publish state number - you can hide it with a special tool. The corresponding button will appear immediately under the attached photo.

To add a video to your ad, you must first upload it to youtube.com, then:

- click the "+" button under "Add video"

- paste the link to your video in the special field

- click Download.

2. Basic information

Please note: be sure to fill in the fields marked with a red asterisk, others are optional.

By specifying "Type of transport" and "Type of body", you will determine the purpose and design of your car. Next, select "Make" and "Model" from the list of proposed options. Be sure to specify "Year of manufacture", "Body type" and "Vehicle mileage".

The "Region" field will automatically display the geolocation specified in the "My profile" section, or choose the location of your car yourself from the options provided.

3. Cost

Include an adequate market value, and note the option to leave a comment, offer a trade and/or exchange.

Put a checkmark in front of the required points, when you select "Possible exchange for a car" an additional form will open where you can specify the desired details of the exchange.

Please note: ads with an obviously low price are perceived by moderators as knowingly false, which can mislead buyers, and therefore are subject to removal for security and fraud prevention purposes (read more in the "Agreement for the provision of online services", clause 9.6)

4. Description of the car

In the text description, you can add detailed information about the details, features of your vehicle that were not previously indicated, and, for example, justify the low price.

5. Additional characteristics

Enter the data in maximum detail in the section of the characteristics questionnaire - this will help the buyer to choose your car among all the offers, because according to the specified parameters, he will participate in the search.

Tick the additional equipment options that your car has for safety, comfort, multimedia, condition and other parameters.

All fields in this section are optional, you can specify them as you wish.

Check whether your data is correct and correct, and click the "Post an ad" button at the bottom of the page.

2. How to offer or respond to a trade?

The AUTO.RIA mobile application has a trading option. How should the buyer and seller act?

Bid for the buyer:

Click on the "Chat" button on the offer screen. On the dialog page, in the list of questions, find the "Propose a trade" button. Click on it.

In the window that appears, enter the amount and specify the currency. We recommend justifying your price in the "comment" field. Click the "Offer a price" button.

Your offer will appear in the chat. It remains to wait for the seller's reaction.

Bidding for the seller:

You received a trade offer in the chat. You can either accept it or reject it. Let's say you are happy with the offer. Click on the "Accept" button.

A message will appear in the chat that you have accepted the offer. It remains to contact the buyer and clarify the details of the agreement.

3. How to log in to AUTO.RIA?

In order to perform actions with your ads (publishing, changing data, adding comments), you need to log in to AUTO.RIA.

Click the "Log in to the account" button in the upper right corner of the screen.

On the next page, enter your e-mail or phone number as a login, as well as the password you specified during registration, and click the "Login" button.

Data for authorization must correspond to a certain format:

E-mail must be entered in the following form: username @ domainname without spaces, commas, brackets.

The phone number is entered in the format of a numeric code without spaces, parentheses and the "+" sign first. For example: 0976543210

You can check "Remember me" so that you can log in from your home PC in the future without too much trouble.
