[Service Overview]

BankPay is an electronic payment app that allows users to make purchases of goods at mobile shopping malls and Zero Pay franchise stores through real-time bank or securities account transfers.

This service is provided by the Financial Security Institute, which establishes and operates the financial joint network, and domestic banks (including many securities firms) to facilitate convenient and secure payments in the mobile environment.

[Guidance on permissions and purposes for using the BankPay app]

∙ Phone (required): Collect information such as device unique number, terminal model name, OS version, phone number for subscriber identification and detecting abnormal transactions.

∙ Storage space (required): Manage public certificates and store electronic receipts.

※ The storage space permission only applies to Android OS versions 10 and below.

∙ Other (required): Search for running apps for malware detection and shut down malicious apps, network connection, etc.

∙ Camera (optional): Scan QR codes.

※ For optional access permissions, you can still use other services excluding the specific service if you do not agree.

How to link BankPay with Toss Payments

Toss Payments provides a transfer service called Quick Account Transfer. You can select a personal account or corporate account (Bank Pay) in the payment window shown above.

When the buyer selects a corporation (Bank Pay) or pays an amount exceeding the daily limit for quick account transfer, the Bank Pay service is used.
