Getting Started

1. How do I sign up for Bandsintown?

On mobile:

    1. Tap Get Started

    2. Choose what platform you want to use to create your account (Apple, Google, Facebook, Spotify, or Email)

    3. Check your email for a confirmation code

    4. Enter the confirmation code and sign in

After creating an account you can follow artists, find concerts, and discover new artists!

2. How can I see if an artist I am following is coming to my town?

You can see if the artists you follow have upcoming events in your area by tapping the Explore tab (magnifying glass icon) at the bottom of the mobile app.

If you view the Explore tab you will see the following tiles: Browse by Artist, All Shows in Your City, Live Streams, and Genres to check out! Each option has filters at the top of the screen including location, date, genre, your Followed vs. Recommended artists, and Physical Concerts vs. Live Stream events. Check it out!

3. How can I share an event?

To share events on the mobile app, please follow these instructions:

    On the Bandsintown website:

    Go to the event page you want to share

    Select what platform you want to share it on next to the Share Event box

On iOS:

    Go to the event you want to share

    Tap the three dots in the upper right corner

    Tap Share Event

    Select what platform and people you want to share with

On Android:

    Go to the event you want to share

    Tap on the three dots on the top right

    Select Share to wherever you'd like to share

4. How can I find events during a specific date or date range?

You can search for events on a specific date or date range in the future or in a different location (if you'll be out of town) on our mobile app!

On iOS:

    1. Tap the Explore page (magnifying glass icon) at the bottom left.

    2. Tap on the Search Bar

    3. Below the Search Bar click the "All Dates" filter

    4. Tap "Choose a Date Range" at the bottom of the drop-down menu and pick your date or date range

On Android:

    1. Tap the Explore page (magnifying glass icon) at the bottom left

    2. Tap on the Search Bar

    3. Below the Search Bar click the "All Time" tab

    4. Select from the given ranges or tap "Choose a Date Range" at the bottom of the drop-down menu and pick your date or date range

1. How do I delete a post or comment I made on the app?

To delete a post, picture, or comment you made on the Bandsintown mobile app just tap the three dots on the top right corner of your post and select 'Delete'.
