Baseball Boy! - Hit home runs & upgrade

I started playing out of boredom. Encountered a couple of problems though. Firstly, there are invisible barriers that make the ball bounce back and halt your progress. Secondly, achieving a 'perfect' hit is always a bit off-center, causing me to hit obstacles like trees and buildings. These issues frustrated me enough to consider uninstalling the game, hence my 1-star rating.

When you play this app and hit the ball strongly, it should bounce really far, like an extra 1000 feet. But what actually happens is that it hits this invisible wall and either goes backward or straight up. It's so frustrating. And then there are way too many ads! Every time you hit the ball, there's an ad. And considering each hit takes about 45 seconds, that means you get an ad every 45 seconds.

So there's this ball, right? And for some reason, it keeps bumping into these invisible walls. It's pretty annoying because whenever the ball is flying or about to land, it suddenly acts like it's hit something and just stops short. I remember paying to remove ads a while back, and now that I wanted to play again for fun, it's frustrating to see the ball getting blocked by these phantom obstacles after making a perfect shot. It's like hitting an invisible barrier in mid-air and getting stuck out of nowhere.

This game is awesome, but there's this one big issue that really bothers me. When you hit the ball and it starts bouncing and rolling, suddenly it hits an invisible barrier that sends it flying back really far. It's super annoying and definitely needs to be fixed. Other than that, everything else about the game is fantastic.

Playing in a waiting room or airport is pretty nice. It's not too noisy and you won't get frustrated at the game. But honestly, it's not super exciting. You realize quickly that hitting the ball straight on at a perfect 90-degree angle doesn't really help. It's better to aim slightly off center, around 88 or 92 degrees. This way, you avoid hitting city blocks, buildings, and trees. The sound effects should include city traffic, birds, and unique sounds for each bat, like a squawking rubber chicken or a jamming guitar. The diamonds you can buy don't really offer much benefit, so it seems like a bit of a waste from a business perspective. I think I'll only keep this app for 1 or 2 months at most.

Started out playing a game, aiming for perfect hits. It was fun and rewarding. However, after leveling up quickly, the non-perfect shots became more rewarding than the perfect ones. Got bored, uninstalled due to too many ads. Had to play in airplane mode to avoid them.

The objectives are challenging but achievable, plus there's no need to pay for extra content - everything unlocks over time. Ads are used as a bonus rather than a must. Great work, guys, I'm loving it! Oh, but after playing for a while, I realized the invisible walls make long-range tasks nearly impossible. Such a pity.

Also, some challenges become hard to complete when you are way ahead in the game. For example, hitting 10 cars is tough because you have to aim perfectly to even touch one. To fix this, they should spread out the "town" areas more instead of being right in the center.

Level 25 is fine, but things start to get boring. The ball goes really high and stays in the air for a long time, with not much to see. The game field looks the same over and over again, and the buildings are so similar that it doesn't make the game more interesting. As you progress to higher levels, it's just not enjoyable anymore. I even reached level 53 hoping for a new mode, but there was nothing. Different bats, players, and balls don't add any excitement; they're just something new to briefly look at. The character animations are awkward and unnatural. The subscription cost of $7.99 per week is ridiculous. You won't feel like playing it again once you're done the first time because it's just a money-making scheme targeting those who can't help but keep playing. The challenges mostly rely on luck, and upgrading doesn't seem worth it. The pixelated characters are just a trick to attract attention. My advice: don't bother trying this game.
