General Tips for BattleText

Use Mix Scrolling Battle Text (MSBT) to replace the default Blizzard combat text, which can be cluttered and hard to read. MSBT allows for better customization and organization of incoming and outgoing damage notifications.

Disable Blizzard's default damage and healing notifications to reduce clutter. This helps in focusing on the messages that matter.

Choose a font that is clear and easy to read, such as Gilroy Bold. Adjust the normal and critical hit sizes to ensure consistency; a size of 13 is recommended for clarity.

Set the scroll height appropriately to avoid overwhelming your screen with large text. A smaller size will keep the text manageable, allowing it to scroll past without taking up too much space.

Turn off notifications for less critical events such as buff notifications, item buff gains, and NPC killing blows. This reduces spam and helps you focus on more important combat information.

In the spam control settings, abbreviate skills, hide names, and shorten numbers to make the text cleaner and easier to read during intense gameplay.

Arrange incoming damage on one side of the screen and outgoing damage on the other. This separation helps in quickly assessing your situation during battles.

In games like BattleText that involve quick texting or responses, aim for short words or phrases to reach your goals faster. This strategy can help you win rounds more efficiently.

Regularly check for updates or minor bug fixes in the app to ensure optimal performance and access to new features or improvements.

The game is amazing. The graphics are fantastic and the gameplay is really smooth. You can play with your friends if they have the app, and the multiplayer works perfectly fine. However, the story mode has a bit of a problem. When I reached level 2 with The Jabberwock, things got tricky. The level's rule was that only the vowel 'E' was allowed, but the starting letter given to me was 'Q'. The AI opponent couldn't even come up with a word! I tried using the auto-word feature, but that didn't help either. To overcome this issue, I had to exit the game and lose a life. Then, I restarted the level hoping for a better starting letter. There are other levels with similar vowel restrictions, so it would be a good idea to check and fix those as well. Thank you for listening!

Wow, it's been 10 minutes into playing the game and it's been pretty awesome, except for the ads. I've already seen around 6 game ads and 5 pop ups in that short time. I might end up uninstalling it soon because of this.

It's not good! The multiplayer feature is not working well! I was playing with someone in the middle of the match when all of a sudden the game said, "YOU LOST" and "DISCONNECTED FROM THE MATCH." My wifi is fast so that's not the problem. But most of the time during a multiplayer game, the game disconnects me for no reason and counts it as a loss. If they fix this problem, I would give it a 5-star rating!

I recently got this game, and it's super entertaining. Playing has boosted my vocabulary skills and typing speed. There are a lot of ads, though, which is annoying but I guess that comes with the territory for free games (just switch off your WiFi to avoid them). If you're feeling bored and want a fun way to learn new words, I definitely suggest trying out this game!

I really enjoy playing this game because it's so engaging that you don't even realize you're improving your vocabulary in the process. I spent a lot of time playing it during a field trip, and time flew by quickly (well, almost - the field trip was fourteen hours long). ๐Ÿ˜ƒ And the best part is I didn't encounter any glitches!

This game is tough, but it's also educational and allows me to discover new words. However, I do encounter a few problems with it. Firstly, it often freezes when I am in the middle of playing, searching for an opponent, or trying to rematch. This forces me to close the game and reopen it. Secondly, the AutoSpelling feature should be located further away as I tend to accidentally trigger it multiple times. Lastly, there are too many ads. It's not fair to make players watch ads to refill energy or continue playing. Sometimes this is annoying, but despite these issues, I still find the game addicting.

I think the game is really fun, but when many people play together, using long words over and over can get tiring. It's like I already know so many of them by heart that even if some letters are banned, it's not that hard to come up with a long word. My idea is to introduce a new mode where a random number is picked, let's say 7. Then, players have to give words that are either exactly 7 letters or as close to 7 letters as possible. If someone gives an 8-letter word, they would get 1 point deducted, and the same goes for a 6-letter word. The objective would be to try and score the least points. It just gets a bit dull always trying to recall those longer words.

This new method helps to enhance our vocabulary. However, the additional two new words are not that great. It would be better if we could retain them separately for story mode and multiplayer. Nevertheless, the game itself is enjoyable. My only issue lies with the multiplayer connections, as they seem a bit strange. During rematches, I find myself matched with opponents who are already taking their turn. This leads to time passing by while I am stuck on the screen for a minute, eventually causing me to lose due to a lost connection. I'm not sure why this happens. Aside from this problem, it's a really good game.
