What is the status of my application?

To check on the status of your job application, please read the following steps:

1. Visit Bayt.com and login into your account.

2. Go to “Home” in the menu bar, then scroll down the page, where on your left you'll find the option "My Job Applications”

Please note that at Bayt.com, what we do is connect people looking for jobs with employers. We do not get involved in the hiring process. How soon an employer establishes contact with you will depend entirely on the individual employer. Generally, they will take time to review all applications and then send messages to relevant candidates. If your CV matches the skills a company is looking for, that employer will get in touch with you directly using the contact information you have provided in your CV.

Why am I not hearing back from employers?

We understand how job hunting can be really stressful, especially when waiting for responses from potential employers. At Bayt.com, our team works hard to make sure that your job hunt is as efficient and successful as possible. 

What we do is connect people looking for jobs with employers. We do not get involved in the hiring process. Once you apply to a vacancy, your CV is instantly available to the employer by the system. If the employer finds that your CV matches their requirements, they will contact you themselves with no intermediation by us. 

1. Include relevant keywords in your CV. Our Career Map tool is there to help you do that.

2. Build your CV using Bayt.com's CV Builder, as it was designed specifically for high efficiency. Make sure all sections are filled out.

3. Get references and recommendations from previous employers and other people who have worked with you.

4. Create a Bayt.com public profile, as it will increase your chances of being found online.

5. Stay persistent with your job search, and keep your CV updated.

How do I update or edit my CV?

1. Visit http://bayt.com and log in into your account

2. Go to "My CV” (the third link after ‘Home’).

3. You will see your CVs stored under the section 'My CVs'. Click on "More", then "My Other Profiles". Click on the CV that you would like to edit.

4. Click on the section that you would like to update/modify. Each section will have an “Edit” button at the end.

5. Make the necessary changes and then click on "Save changes".
