Oh, I need to adjust my rating for this app because of the password requirement. You can only use the app if your phone is secured with a password. I don't lock everything - my phone, laptop, and so on. Remembering all those passwords is tough. I keep a book with my passwords visible on the table for easy access to other things. I'm not bothered if someone checks my health records and sees I've been treated for an ingrown toenail like many others. It just seems silly.

The new video verification feature is having issues. I have a Huawei P30 lite and I faced problems while trying to use it. When snapping a photo of myself, the face alignment oval did not match up correctly. Similarly, when attempting to capture my driver's license, the image turned out blurry and I could not adjust the camera focus manually for a clearer shot.

I took a step back and removed stored data temporarily. Then, I reinstalled the application. It was challenging. I don't see the point of going through such a complicated process to view my health records. Why can't they just implement a security feature similar to banks? By the way, I still cannot reach my records. This is frustrating; I must create another video. The initial one felt like an intrusion of my privacy. Additionally, it would be great if access could be granted without needing a phone or some unusual token.

Government apps are often slow, unresponsive, and difficult to navigate. However, this app is different. I chose to verify mine in person at a Service BC center, and it only took 5 minutes. So far, so good!
