Gameplay:

Blot Club is a two-player game that requires strategy and calculated risk-taking. Before the game begins, the deck of 32 cards is shuffled, and each player gets four cards dealt before them.

From here, the players will need to use strategic planning to outsmart their opponents to achieve their goal of accumulating the most cards. The game uses a trick-taking mechanism where each player takes turn to make a bid and plays a card of their choice.

Once both players have played their cards, the winner of the trick collects the cards and claims a point value. The game continues in this manner until all cards are played, and the player with the highest score is declared the winner.

Cards:

There are a total of 32 cards used in the game of Blot Club, and they consist of four suits, namely swords, coins, cups, and clubs. Each suit has eight cards numbered from Ace to Eight.

The Ace is the highest-ranked card, followed by King, Queen, Jack, Ten, Nine, Eight, and Seven. Different cards have different point values, and only the five top-scoring cards count towards a player’s score—the Ace of Swords, the Ten of Coins, King of Swords, King of Clubs, and Queen of Swords, which are commonly known as ‘valuable’ cards.

Game Modes:

Blot Club offers two modes of play—the single player mode and the multiplayer mode.

In single player mode, the player competes against computer opponents, which is helpful for beginners who are trying to get the hang of the game, and it can also serve as a valuable training ground for experienced players looking to improve their strategies.

In multiplayer mode, up to four players can compete, and each player takes turns to play against one another until one player scores the most points and is declared the winner.

Challenging the Best:

As you advance, you will unlock rewards for your progress, including new cards and access to higher levels of the game, and you can also compete against some of the best players in the game.

The game’s leaderboards keep track of the highest-ranking players’ scores. So, as a determined and skillful player, you can climb the rankings and prove your worth as a top Blot Club player.

Rewards:

Besides unlocking new cards and gaining access to higher levels of the game, players can also earn rewards in Blot Club. These rewards come in the form of coins that can be spent to purchase better cards.
