- Subscription terms: include a 3-day trial.

- Plan automatically renews at the end of the period. Cancel via your Store account.

- Payment will be charged to your Store Account at confirmation of purchase.

- Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period.

- Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period.

- The user may manage subscriptions & may turn off auto-renewal by going to Account Settings after purchase.

- No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during the active subscription period.

- Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to Boop Kids.

ABOUT

While Boop Kids has some good content, there are also some let downs. Content is not added as frequently as other subscription type games, (the last update was June 2020) making it difficult to justify the recurring price. While the package of all that the app features may be nice, many of them are original takes on things that other free apps do. 

While the app store states this application has educational content, two videos help the viewer count to 10, and that seems to be where the educational value ends.

We’re happy that the app has no ads or in-app purchases, and the privacy policy ensures your child is safe while using the app.

Boop Kids has enough content to keep young children busy, and all in one application, but it may not be worth the steep monthly recurring price point, given that there are plenty of cheaper alternatives that do these things just as well. This along with the issue of infrequent content uploads earns this app/service 3 out of 5 stars. 

GAME PLAY

Upon installing the app, parents will be prompted to accept a 3 day free trial and sign up for the subscription. This app can not be used without a subscription outside of the 3 day trial. This app is good at letting the child know when they need an adult (for this and for accessing the parental dashboard). Once these terms are accepted, you can access the dashboard of games, books and videos which slide by on their own or can be controlled. 

The games offered by Boop Kids vary in skill (or age) required to play. While most seem suited to 4-year-olds (and maybe younger), one farming game, in particular, would be great for a child age 6-9 years old. In general, most of the games in this app focus on creative sandbox type play, where the game gives you tools, bricks, brushes, or stickers to create or complete a picture, structure, town, etc. The farming game is an outlier because it has a specific task and objective of farming vegetables and earning/collecting coins before the day ends. 

There are also original videos (ranging from a few seconds to a few minutes) that have fun silly animations, which will keep children entertained, along with digital picture books that an adult can read to them.
