[When my working soul possessed the electronic earthworm, the road to becoming the king of involution was full of laughter and tears]
At three o'clock in the morning, I squatted beside the potted plant at my workstation and ate a wilted apple. In the green light of the mobile phone screen, a pixel earthworm was chased by a beetle and flew out of the fire - how could this be an io arena? It was clearly the Zerg version of "Workplace Transformation"!
Three seconds after the start, my "inspirational little worm" was forced to understand the law of the jungle: the so-called "devouring growth" is just to take the exhaust of colleagues as a tonic. Every time I ran into a thorny boss, the escape route was more tortuous than the year-end report - it turns out that the ultimate secret of being a social animal and a worm is: if you can't roll to death, roll to death!
The operation feels like butter skates! The virtual joystick makes my earthworm move like a greedy snake that drank fake wine. Once I accidentally touched the acceleration key and spiraled up directly, drawing a circle of shame on the head of the beetle boss. Now my skill tree has only two branches: snake-like movement and lying flat while pretending to be dead.
Apple Economics:
• Take a bite of an apple = complete 0.1% of OKR
• Swallow half of the same kind = get promoted to P6
• Get crushed by the boss = get the N+1 gift package
Every pixel apple is mocking: "If you don't do it, there are plenty of bugs to do it!"
Three kinds of bugs, three universes:
🐛 Rookie Cute Bug - Comes with the "Scapegoat" skin when joining the company, and triggers the "Shawshank Redemption" BGM when being chased
🦗 Social Animal Adult Bug - 996 evolves into a dark eye circle skin, moves 50% faster, but can eat caffeinated apples
🕷️ Fortune Giant Bug - Covered with Dingding punch-in spikes, no grass grows wherever it goes, and its catchphrase is "Good fortune is coming"
Boss battle is the annual performance review site! When the Ultimate Bug King approaches with the KPI sickle, my escape route looks like the year-end summary PPT - fancy but without focus. Once, I drew a pie chart with exhaust gas during a Jedi counterattack, and actually frightened the boss to death!
The visual effects can be called mental pollution! The fluorescent green slime battlefield is like the intraocular pressure hallucination after overtime work, and the mosaic blood mist when the bugs exploded made me dream back to the Windows 98 screen saver. The most amazing thing is the "evolution light effect" - every upgrade is like being injected with chicken blood by HR, and my pupils outside the screen tremble.
Cross-dimensional work injuries:
• I want to bite my colleague's tie when I see it (I thought it was an apple stem)
• I automatically shrink into a ball during subway security check (defense mode activated)
• I have the urge to devour round fruits
• I firmly believe that my boss is an unawakened insect king
But what does it matter? When the real promotion is more cruel than the Zerg fight, at least here, my exhaust gas can draw a star-studded avenue! 🐛👑💥
