DEALING

Players take turns dealing in Call Break, starting to the right of the previous dealer. Each player is dealt 13 cards face down to commence the game.

BIDDING

Commencing to the right of the dealer and progressing counter-clockwise, players must each make a bid of at least 2 tricks (maximum 12). This bid signifies the number of tricks the player commits to winning.

GAMEPLAY

The player to the dealer's right leads the first trick, followed by the winner of each subsequent trick. In Call Break, Spades function as the trump cards.

SCORING

Success in Call Break entails fulfilling the declared number of tricks or one more than the bid. Fulfilled bids earn points, while failed bids lead to point deductions.

The Call Break game has no predetermined end, allowing players to continue as desired. Upon conclusion, the player with the highest score emerges victorious.
