Caller ID & Call Blocker - Identify & Block Calls

Caller ID & Call Blocker is a handy application that enables users to identify and block numbers, particularly unknown callers. The Caller ID feature helps in determining the true caller identity, and for added fun, users can even make fake calls.

Serving as a contacts widget, Caller ID & Call Blocker functions as a comprehensive mobile phone number tracker, dialer, number locator, and caller identification tool. Among its capabilities are call identification, phone number tracking, spotting unknown callers, and displaying caller locations.

The Call Blocker feature - also referred to as call block - operates on an extensive database to automatically block unwanted numbers or calls based on user preferences. Additionally, the reverse phone number lookup function allows users to search for any number or name and effectively track phone numbers. Moreover, Caller ID & Call Blocker facilitates making phone calls within the app just like a dialer, and the call log showcases recent call activities such as received, missed, and unanswered calls.

How to secure your calls

Turn caller ID & spam protection off or back on

Caller ID & Call Blocker is on by default. You can choose to turn it off.

To use Caller ID & Call Blocker, your phone may need to send information about your calls to Google. It doesn’t control whether your number shows when you make calls.

On your device, open the Phone app 

Tap More options   Settings  Caller ID and spam.

Turn See caller ID & spam on or off.

Optional: To block spam calls on your phone, turn on "Filter spam calls." You don't get missed call or voicemail notifications, but filtered calls are in your call history, and you can check your voicemail.

Tip: For devices that have an automatic Call Screen feature, there's no “Filter spam calls” option. Spam autoblocking is one of the automatic Call Screen options. Learn how to screen your calls before you answer them.

Turn on Caller ID & Call Blocker announcement

To announce a caller’s name or number, turn on Caller ID & Call Blocker announcement.

On your device, open the Phone app 

Tap More options   Settings  Caller ID announcement  Announce caller ID.
