User Support

1. iOS 6：Why I cannot save cards in the phonebook?

Due to the new privacy policies from iOS 6, it will reject the three-party's app to access your iPhone contacts without your allowance. Therefore you will be asked if you allow CamCard to access your contacts for the first time you run it.

If you need to save the cards to iPhone contacts, please enter iPhone settings -> privacy -> contacts -> find “CamCard” and turn on the option.If you don't have this need, please just do not turn on this option.Thank you!

2. Why it shows the sync failed?

If you failed to sync consistently, please send the log to us, and tell us which country and city you stay, and which connection type you are using.

3. Why I cannot receive the activation mail?

Sometimes the activation mail may be received in the Spam Box, please check that if you could find it in Spam Box.

Please confirm that you input the right email address when you registered in CamCard, such as spell error.

If you still cannot receive the activation mail, please contact us (isupport@intsig.com).

4. How to save the cards into the phone contacts?

After taking photo for the card, you could choose to save the card into phone contacts in the recognition result screen. CamCard will remember your choice automatically, no need to choose it again afterwards.

If the scanned card is not saved into the phone contacts, you could choose this card in Card Holder and click [Edit], then you could choose to save the card into phone contacts in the Editing screen.

If you set your phone contacts to sync with Gmail, Exchange and other servers, the saved cards in CamCard will be synced with these servers, it will be the same as the contact you added manually in phone contacts.

5. Why I cannot find my saved cards in the phonebook?

Please check whether you have correctly selected the account and group in the "Edit/Check Recognition Result" page, which might be something like "On my iPhone", "Gmail" or else. And then try to find the contacts in the account and group that you have chosen, or use the search bar to make a search.

If you cannot find the contacts in the selected account and group, try to search in "All Contacts"; if you did find the contacts, that means something might go wrong with the accounts and groups during the sync or update process. Please go back to Step 1 and choose an account and a group again.

6. If you still find nothing, quit the phonebook app in the background, reopen it, and then see if you can find the contacts?

7. Why failed to recognize the business card?

    Photos: When you are capturing a business card, please try to fill the card to the entire screen (you don’t need to worry about the text orientation because CamCard will recognize it automatically). If the card text looks not clear enough on the screen, please tap the screen to let the camera focus.

    Lighting: A good condition of ample light will improve the accuracy of the recognition.

    Recognition Language：Please make sure you have selected the languages you need to recognize in Settings.

8. I change the phone, how to transfer my cards to the new phone?

If you’re the registered user for CamCard, you could save the cards in the Cloud server. Then please use the same account to login CamCard on your new phone, the cards will be transferred to the new one.

9. How to avoid losing my business cards?

With Cloud Backup and Cloud Sync in CamCard 3, your cards will be encrypted and saved in the Cloud: secure, private, and never get lost.

10. What’s the difference between the full version and the lite version?

The lite version contains ads, and there is a limit of the number of cards that you can recognize; while the full version does not have any limit.

11. How to export the cards in lite version to full version?

If you’re the registered user for CamCard lite version, you could save the cards in the Cloud server. Then please use the same account to login CamCard full version, the cards will be transferred to the full version.

12. Where are the cards stored in after sync?

The cards will be saved in the Cloud server with 256-bit encryption. The Cloud server is located in America, Europe, Japan and China. We will allocate the fastest server to you, which will depend on your network environment. You could check and view the Security Overview and Privacy Policy.

13. I forgot my 4-digit passcode. How do I retrieve it?

This is a security feature to protect your cards in Card Holder. There’s no way to retrieve the 4-digit passcode. It’s very important that you never forget this passcode. The only way to get around this is to delete the app and install it again. This however will delete all of your cards. If you are using our cloud sync feature, just login and all your cards will be synced to your Card Holder.

14. How to set a group for the business cards?

Open [Card Holder].Tap [Edit].Select several cards, tap and hold until an indicator is displayed.Drag the indicator on to a group, and then the selected cards will be set to that group.

How to use the app

1. Open CamCard (the APP icon is a light blue background with the letters CC) on your phone. The main interface is as follows:

2. Click the shooting button in the middle of the main interface, turn the phone sideways, aim the camera at the business card, and click the shooting button after autofocus.

CamCard will automatically crop the photo, remove the extra background, enhance the image quality, and start intelligently recognizing the text information on the business card. Before taking a photo of a business card for the first time, you can select the recognition language, shutter sound, etc. in the settings button in the upper right corner of the camera interface.

PS: When shooting, try to keep the business card within the camera frame, choose a background with a large color difference from the business card, and shoot in a well-lit environment. The clearer the photo, the higher the recognition rate of the business card. 3. Enter the information editing page, click on different information boxes, such as phone number, surname, and first name, and the upper image will also be displayed in the corresponding position of the business card.

Scroll down the interface to see multiple options such as grouping, saving to address book (including multiple address book accounts in CamCard CC program, gmail, QQ, 163, outlook, mobile phone SIM card, local, etc., which can be selected by yourself), adding other items, adding back images, etc.

4. After the recognition is completed, click the "Save" button in the upper right corner to group the business cards in the CamCard APP.

5. After clicking "Done" in the upper right corner, you can see the detailed information of this business card. You can click "Group and Note" to add pictures or text notes to this contact. If you plan to contact this person later, you can add an alarm to the business card.

6. If you want to perform batch operations on the business cards saved in CamCard, you can click the icon in the upper right corner of the main interface -> Batch Operation.

7. After selecting multiple business cards, click "Share" below -> Other contacts in WeChat/QQ/CC CamCard, and you can share the business cards in batches with others.

8. In addition, if the company information saved in the business card is complete and it is a company registered in China, CamCard will automatically identify and display its industrial and commercial registration information, which is very easy to use.

9. If there are multiple business cards that need to be recognized at one time, there is no need to repeat the operation multiple times. When shooting a business card with CamCard, just swipe the button in the lower right corner from single mode to batch mode to shoot multiple business cards at one time.

Or after taking a photo of the business card with your mobile phone camera, open the camera of CamCard, click the "Album" button in the lower left corner of the photo interface to select multiple business card photos, and you can recognize multiple business cards at one time to improve scanning efficiency.

10. In the main interface of CamCard, you can also click the button in the upper right corner to add more contacts (face-to-face exchange of business cards, import from address book, recognize email signatures, manually input business cards, scan QR code business cards, etc.); you can also sort business cards.

11. The magnifying glass icon in the upper right corner of the main interface is the "Search" button. In addition to searching existing contacts with keywords, you can also search for companies (companies that are not in your business cards).

12. In addition to searching in the business card folder, you can also search for companies in the "Search Enterprise" section of the main interface of CamCard. Alibaba, WeChat, Wang Sicong, search whatever you want. After clicking on a company, their official contact information is at the bottom. If you are interested in the company you searched for, you can also take the initiative to send your business card to them.

13. After registering CamCard, you can create your own electronic business card in the "Me" section in the lower right corner of the program, and add other information about yourself and your company that cannot be placed on a paper business card.

These additional information and the original information in your business card can be shared with others directly in the CamCard app, without worrying about others losing it. You can also add a V to your account and bind it to Sesame Credit to improve the authenticity of your Sesame Credit and identity.

14. If you need to find a business partner, you can also publish relevant information directly in CamCard. Finding people on the business platform is more targeted.

15. After registration, the business card information will be synchronized to the cloud, and you can directly open the computer to manage the business card on the CamCard official website. If you change your phone, log in to the CamCard account on the old phone directly on the new phone, and the business card will be automatically downloaded, so you don't have to worry about losing the business card.

Invoice Issuance Tutorial

Method 1

Open the CamCard mini program, click "≡" on the upper left corner of the homepage -> My Orders -> Find the order you need to issue an invoice for, click the "Apply for Electronic Invoice" button on the details page, and issue an invoice online.

Method 2

In the CamCard App, click the "My" tab -> "My Orders" -> Find the order you need to issue an invoice for, click the "Apply for Electronic Invoice" button on the details page, and issue an invoice online.

If you encounter any problems during the invoice issuance process, you can feedback in - WeChat "CamCard" mini program > Menu on the upper left corner of the homepage > "Contact Customer Service".

Note:

1. VAT general invoice is an electronic invoice, and you need to fill in the receiving email address. After the application is successful, your receiving email address will receive an email with an electronic general invoice attached, and you can go to confirm and download it.

2. VAT special invoice is a paper invoice, which we will send to you by SF Express cash on delivery. It takes 7-10 working days to issue, please be patient.

3. For invoices for offline purchases, please contact your account manager.

Guide to using corporate digital business cards

Generate member business cards

1. Invite friends via WeChat

    Click "Invite WeChat friends" in the [Generate member business card] module to send an invitation link or share an image

    Relevant members can submit business card applications after scanning and filling in

    Members can use it after the administrator has reviewed and approved it in the [Apply to join] list

2. Online entry

    Click "Online entry" in the [Generate member business card] module to enter the business card information of members one by one

3. Batch import

    Click "Batch import information" in the [Generate member business card] module to batch import and generate member business cards by uploading excel.

    All imported business cards will be displayed in the [Waiting for activation] list. The administrator clicks "Generate invitation code" in the upper right corner of the [Waiting for activation] list, scans and sends a link to the member, and the member clicks the link to verify the mobile phone number. When the input mobile phone number is the same as the mobile phone number on the business card, the business card can be successfully claimed and used

Edit member information

After the member successfully receives the business card, the administrator can click "Edit" in the [Joined members] list to edit the business card information, or change the business card style on the editing page. The edited member's mobile phone will take effect in real time
