Cameo - Celebrity video shoutouts

Updating my review from October 2021. The app is great when used in the USA. However, it unfortunately does not work outside of that country as it keeps showing a message saying "unavailable in your country". Additionally, I have noticed that liked messages are no longer displayed. This issue is particularly bothersome since I am in communication with a celebrity, and their liked messages do not appear on the Desktop version of the app. Despite these drawbacks, overall, the app functions well.

Wow, this app is just amazing! It's such a beautiful way to connect us with superstars. The only downside is that you only get 20 seconds to explain your video needs and you're limited to 250 characters in your message. It can be hard to express everything to the celebrities, but overall, it's really awesome!

Ordering is simple and really effective. The chat feature, on the other hand, is a bit tricky to rely on. It seems like its performance depends on the app's mood. Interestingly, the chat price rose from $7.99 to $10.99 within just one year. Also, when you're having a serious conversation, there's a limit to how many characters you can use. This might force you to send multiple messages and spend more money. While they offer gift cards, you can only use them up to the amount loaded. Perhaps the app developers should consider introducing a monthly subscription for chatting.

The service works well but the interface is a bit tricky and the user experience is frustrating. It was tough for me to make a booking; it took about seven tries and every time there was an issue, I had to start over from the beginning. Make sure to copy your instructions in case you need to paste them again. Specifically, there were problems with the credit card when using Google Pay autofill, and also when opting not to store payment information on the app. Every time this happened, I had to go back to the beginning. I'm using a OnePlus 7 Pro.

Hey, check this out - so, I had this awesome idea to get a video message from a celebrity for a friend, right? But here's the thing, when I made the order, I thought I needed to write out the exact words for the celeb to say. Turns out, that really threw them off! They spent half the video trying to work out if the message was from me or if it was supposed to be coming from them to my friend. It was kind of confusing but still super fun!
