Ambient Animals

Moschops

Carnivores: Dinosaur Hunter

Not dangerous.

From the Dinopedia: The lumbering Moschops is an extremely common synapsid, found grazing all across the Central Sector with its chisel-like teeth. This hefty little brute is not dangerous and will flee at the first sign of danger, as Moschops are a common food source for many smaller carnivores, like Allosaurus. Despite its low status on the food chain, these synapsids are very successful animals, with its relatives being found all over the dinosaur planet.

Gallimimus

Carnivores: Dinosaur Hunter

Not dangerous.

From the Dinopedia: This fleet-footed dinosaur is one of the most abundant on the dinosaur planet. Gallimimus' name means "chicken mimic," and appropriately so, as this small herbivore will run away at high speeds if startled. DinoHunt Corp. warns Novice hunters to always be cautious around Gallimimus, as its colors are very similar to those of the Velociraptor, and many new hunters have perished by mistaking the sickle-clawed predators for this skittish little herbivore.

Dimorphodon

Carnivores: Dinosaur Hunter

Not dangerous.

From the Dinopedia: The tiny Dimorphodon is an extremely abundant flying reptile found all over the dinosaur planet. This creature prefers the warmer jungles found in the Central Sector, but can be found in cooler forests following its preferred food source of insects. Dimorphodon glide low around the treeline, where they snap up any insects unfortunate enough to be caught in their toothy jaws.

Pteranodon

Carnivores: Dinosaur Hunter

Not dangerous.

From the Dinopedia: The regal Pteranodon is a medium-sized flying reptile, much larger and more advanced than the primitive Dimorphodon. These crested predators prefer to fly high in the open sky, where the cool updrafts fuel their massive wings, and provice them enough momentum to dive into the lakes and oceans to snap up sea-dwelling prey in their toothless beaks.

Dimetrodon

Carnivores: Dinosaur Hunter

Not dangerous.

From the Dinopedia: While the Dimetrodon of Earth was a voracious hunter, the Dimetrodon of FMM UV-32 is a timid omnivore, and often becomes an easy meal to larger predators like Ceratosaurus. These sail-backed synapsids act as cleanup crews around the Central Sector, foraging through the undergrowth for rotting plants and decaying animal carcasses to clean the environment and fuel themselves.

Brachiosaurus

Carnivores: Dinosaur Hunter

Not dangerous.

From the Dinopedia: One of the most ancient dinosaurs found on the planet, the enormous Brachiosaurus is also one of the most majestic. Bones like iron and thick, impenetrable scales protect adult Brachiosaurus from any threat, allowing these gentle dinosaurs to live out their amphibious lives undisturbed. These massive sauropods can live for hundreds of years, and are incredibly adaptable, perfectly suited to life in saltwater seas or freshwater ponds.

For players who have experienced Carnivores on PC, hours of nostalgic gameplay await!

New hunters will encounter sights never seen before.

The game is enjoyable. You get to explore, hunt dinosaurs, pick guns, and explore diverse maps – that's entertaining. The need to purchase ammo for special guns felt unnecessary, plus those annoying barriers blocking your way can be frustrating. A more accurate pistol would be great – sometimes, even when perfectly aiming at a dinosaur, the shot misses. The most frustrating part is being unable to download it despite having enough space on my device.

I really like the classic Carnivores game. It stays true to the original and hunting is challenging, just like it should be. The only issue is that they seem to have removed the specific target areas for dinosaurs, such as headshots or spine shots. I've had many chances to shoot an Allosaurus in the head, but it doesn't go down immediately; you basically have to keep shooting it. Nevertheless, it's still a fun game, as always.

I love this game! The graphics are amazing and the hunts are so challenging. They put so much detail into every map and dinosaur, it's incredible. The controls are easy to understand, and the observer mode is really cool. Survival mode is a blast too. The only issue I have is that you have to pay for a lot of things, which I find annoying.

Dad showed me this game, I really like it. I want it to last forever. It told me to start the game for help. Can there be more dinosaurs and more things? I completed everything and now I'm bored.

Even though I won't keep it, still giving 5 stars. Grew up with Windows Carnivores series, know how good it is. Used to keyboard controls for character and camera movements. On Chromebook now, no keyboard controls found. Couldn't get used to touch screen controls on phone. Just not what I'm used to. Probably need to get updated PC version.

It would be great to be able to reach out to the developers and ask some questions. I'm curious if I can use a controller to play the game. I've played the original version a long time ago with a mouse and keyboard, which was fine too. Touch controls are not my thing. It would be nice if the game could be played on more modern consoles or on Steam, like it was on PS3 before. I'm not a fan of pay-to-play games, but in this one, it's just an option if you want to buy everything quickly. The experience is still as fun as the original version from 1998.

Had issues starting the game, so I reached out to customer support. They told me an update was coming soon, but I was skeptical. Lo and behold, the update arrived and now the game runs smoothly. It's a fantastic game.

This game has been around for a long time and it's still one of my top favorites. I started playing it when I got my first smartphone and even now, over a decade later, I still love it. The map is huge, it's easy to get good at, and if you're into dinosaurs, you should definitely check it out. It's a game that's been with me since I was a kid and it's still awesome to play today.

The gameplay works well. I spent 5 dollars to double the credit value for kills permanently. But after unlocking certain items, they become locked again without warning. This has happened several times. When I close and reopen the app, those items are locked again, my credits disappear, and progress is lost. It feels like I never played the game and it goes back a few days. It's really frustrating.
