Q: I have a question about the details of an object. What should I do?
Responsibility: It’s the seller’s responsibility to ensure the description is complete and accurate. We recommend reading the description thoroughly and reviewing the images carefully.
Missing Information: If you find missing details or need more information, contact us by using the button below. Provide a detailed question and any supporting material. Note that we might not be able to answer before the auction closes, so bid based on the information available at that moment.
2. Shipping Information
Q: I have shipping-related questions. Who should I contact?
Pre-Payment: Before payment, shipping questions are generally not answered. Contact us as soon as possible with your queries to increase the chance of a timely response.
Post-Payment: The messaging service between buyer and seller opens only after payment. For shipping queries, reach out to us promptly.
Q: My object has been delivered, but it does not conform to its description. What should I do?
Contact Us: Notify us within 3 days of delivery using Track & Trace records. Contact the seller directly to discuss the issue and include pictures of the received object.
Required Information:
Full picture of the object
At least two detailed pictures of the object’s state
Two pictures of the packaging with the label visible
A description highlighting discrepancies between the received item and the description
For authenticity concerns, include supporting documents and photos
3. Issues with Delivery
Q: I’ve paid for my object but haven’t received it yet. What should I do?
Before Estimated Delivery Date: Check the order page for updates. Orders may take longer depending on the shipping location and customs.
Up to 5 Days After Estimated Delivery Date: If there’s no update, wait for 5 days after the estimated delivery date. Shipping delays are common.
More Than 5 Days After Estimated Delivery Date: Contact us for support. We will open a claim and pause the payment while investigating. If we don’t hear from you within 10 days after the estimated delivery date, we’ll assume the order was delivered and process the payment to the seller.
Q: What if the object arrived damaged or is not as described?
Contact Us: Follow the same steps for reporting an issue with an object that is not as described or damaged. Include detailed photos and descriptions to support your claim.

5. VAT on Catawiki Orders:
VAT Collection: Catawiki collects VAT for orders depending on the region, final bid price, and seller location. VAT is added to the final bid price and shipping costs, then transferred to local tax authorities.
Regions & Conditions:
EU (including Northern Ireland): VAT is collected for orders with a final bid price of €150 or under if the seller is outside the EU.
France: VAT is collected for all final bid prices if the seller is outside the EU.
Great Britain: VAT is collected for orders with a final bid price of £135 or under if the seller is outside the UK.
Singapore: VAT is collected for orders with a final bid price of S$400 or under if the seller is outside Singapore.
Double VAT Charges: If charged VAT at checkout, you shouldn't be charged again at delivery. If you are, keep proof of payment and contact Catawiki.
6. Submitting a Lot for Auction:
Category Selection: Choose a category for your item, but not the exact auction. An expert will review and select the appropriate auction for your item.
7. Tracking Shipments:
Smart Shipping: Use tracked labels created by Catawiki. Track progress on the order page or the shipping company's website.
Manual Shipping: Use a tracked shipping company, mark the order as shipped, and enter the tracking code on the order page. Update tracking if necessary.
Tracking Issues: If you don’t have the tracking code, contact the shipping company or Catawiki for help.
8. Tracking Your Order:
Order Page: Track your order and view its status on the order page and the shipping company’s website using the provided tracking code.

Being Prepared: Seller is packing and preparing the order.
