Go for the biggest multiplier

You should always aim to pass your balls through the gate with the biggest multiplier. This can mean swapping colors regularly, but you want to get the highest score at the end of the level and this is really the only way to do it. Work on your timing when you’re dropping a box onto a moving gate – you usually want to tip just as the gate you’re waiting for appears.

Be ready to change

Always be ready to tap the screen to change the hue of your balls. You’ll be able to tell if you need to because the gate you’re heading for will be covered in spikes. If you’re constantly on the lookout for the need to change, you’re going to be in a much better place to react when the opportunity occurs. 

Watch out for the obstacles

There are other obstacles you need to be wary of while your balls are falling. Some might separate the flow, others might send it in one specific direction. Always keep an eye on what’s ahead and make sure you’re ready to react if your flow moves in a direction you didn’t expect.

Learn from your mistakes

You’re going to make mistakes, but that’s okay, so long as you learn from them. Balls fell in the wrong direction? Make sure that you’re ready to react the next time they do that. Got the timing wrong on a moving gate? Try a different release point the next time round. Every failure is a learning experience.

What are the coins for?

You can spend the coins you earn on different skins for the items you’re dropping. They don’t change the game mechanically, but they make for a more interesting visual experience. Still, there’s not much point watching the videos to earn more coins, since if you’re playing you’re going to be earning anyway.
