Lack of a training mode for advanced skill improvement

Greetings Players

Chess, a game of ancient origins, is renowned for its strategic depth.

It is a captivating board game that hones skills like tactics, strategy, and visual memory.

I am currently developing an application that aims to provide an enjoyable chess experience for players of all levels.

Embark on your chess journey, conquer levels, and ascend to the title of Chess Master!

Key Chess Pieces:

- Pawns advance one square forward or two squares on their initial move, and capture diagonally one square ahead.

- The King moves one square in any direction: vertically, horizontally, or diagonally.

- The Queen possesses the freedom to move any distance vertically, horizontally, or diagonally.

- Rooks can move any number of squares vertically or horizontally.

- Knights execute L-shaped moves—two squares in one direction and one square perpendicularly, or vice versa.

- Bishops traverse any diagonal path available.

Crucial Chess Scenarios:

- Check signifies the king being directly threatened by the opponent's pieces.

- Checkmate denotes the player with no legal moves left while their king is under threat.

- Stalemate occurs when the current player lacks legal moves and is not in check, leading to a draw.

Victory in chess involves checkmating the opponent's king.

Special Chess Moves:

- Castling lets the king and rook make a coordinated double move.

- En passant permits a pawn to capture an enemy pawn that advances two squares from its starting position.

Learn to play Chess from the first basic knowledge of Chess

It’s popular, but in reality, if you don’t have someone to directly guide and practice with you, you will have a hard time learning and mastering this game.

If you want to learn to play Chess, but can’t find an ideal companion, download Chess to your mobile phone.

Chess is both a game and an application, playing and learning Chess from basic to advanced. If you are learning Chess for the first time, Chess will give you practice exercises before sending you to multi-level AI matches.

In this Practice mode, you can learn about Chess, from the smallest basic knowledge. Some examples are how to name the pieces, how to arrange them on the board, how to move, the advantages of each piece, when to check, when to lose overall without direct check…

After gaining this initial knowledge, Practice mode will begin to guide you through your first moves. Keep doing that until you clearly understand the rules of the game and remember the moves of each piece.

Having a good time with it. Got it a couple of days ago and already reached the Master level. Not sure if the ratings are completely reliable. Some games were tough even on expert level. Noticed that AI makes some silly errors at times. There were instances where I made mistakes, but AI didn't capitalize on them. This only occurs occasionally, maybe around 10 percent of the time. Seems like it considers human errors or oversights. Overall, it's a fun game!

It's a great app that never messes up, no matter how many games you play. It always matches your chosen level perfectly. Even its mistakes are relevant to the difficulty level. The board is easy to look at, and the hints it provides are helpful. This app has really helped me get better at chess, from being a beginner to becoming more advanced. I recommend using it along with online chess strategy guides for extra practice and to learn faster.

The game is good, but the lower levels are too easy. I'm not great at chess, but I reached the 'Master' level quickly. I wish there was a resign option. Overall, the game is well made, no annoying ads, and decent graphics (although the sound can be irritating).

The game is good in general. I'm not a fan of the move take-back option, but I follow the rules strictly. The lack of the pass pawn feature is not my favorite, though sometimes it can be useful. It's nice that the difficulty increases as you progress and there are various difficulty settings. I appreciate that the computer tries to force a stalemate instead of just losing, which is similar to how I play. It really makes you think. I suggest giving it a try.

I think it would be helpful if the removed pieces could be placed next to the board and have the last one highlighted. Sometimes, when the computer makes its move and removes a piece, I'm not sure which one it took. Then I have to undo the move, which isn't ideal. It would also be great to have a timer included. In general, I find the game very impressive in terms of its gameplay, graphics, and programming.

This game is great for practicing at any level. It really makes you come up with new strategies. When you reach the higher levels, it's tough to win unless you're a highly skilled player. Overall, it's good, but it would be helpful if captured pieces were shown on the side of the board. I also wish there were hints available for each level, even if you used them in the previous level, so you could learn how to beat opponents who never make mistakes.

This app is great for practicing chess strategies, but there are a couple of confusing flaws. One flaw is that you can easily get hints in the puzzles, which kind of defeats the purpose. Another issue is that sometimes a clear win is counted as a draw, which is disappointing. Remember to play without WiFi or mobile data to avoid ads. Have a fantastic day!

At first, the game is simple to begin with, but then it becomes really challenging. I can't find any flaws in the game. However, once you reach the middle levels, it feels like you are competing against a chess master – the A.I never messes up and always positions its pieces perfectly. This takes away a lot of the fun from the game. I'm just a casual chess player who plays for fun rather than winning.

I love playing chess. I always win and enjoy a good challenge. Some people think the game cheats when it's about to lose, but they just don't know the rules. When the king is cornered and none of your pieces can attack it, that's a draw.

Chess used to feel restrictive for me because I only stuck to one strategy. But today, I realized there are so many more options to explore. It would be great if you could introduce a Greyscale theme to make it easier to differentiate between the pieces, especially when playing with a black and white screen before going to bed.
