What is the origin of Chollometro

In case you don't know, Chollometro is Spanish. Very Spanish. It was created in Seville by three university students. The creation date? 2017. 

However, if you visit it, you will most likely think that it has been around for many more years due to the repercussions it has as well as brand recognition.

But Chollometro was not really born as a website. Actually, it has its beginnings, three years before its origin, in 2015, as a Telegram channel. There, three students, Manuel Zabala, Adrián del Arco and Miguel Nogales, used to upload discounts they found on the Internet to this channel. The name of this one was @Chollos. And if you're wondering, yes, it's still active and they post a lot of offers, some that appear on their website, and others that are exclusive to the channel.

And, of course, this began to grow and grow until they saw that it could be a good idea to create a website/community that would house many buyers. In fact, it has become the largest community of buyers in all of Spain, And with its union with Pepper, which is the largest buying community in the world, it has a position that many others would want.

In 2015, about a month after creating @Chollos, they launched another channel, @Descuentos, also active.
