Sometimes, the e-reader moves slowly and it takes a long time to turn the page of a book. I wish it could automatically transfer the books I download to my Kindle, but it can't do that. If there was continuous scrolling, that would be ideal as I wouldn't have to keep flipping pages. On the positive side, it has a vast selection of books available, which is fantastic.

Listening to audio books is so great! I have trouble finding files on my phone usually, but this app makes it easy. I'm really enjoying the experience. I wish I could find more classic literature titles, though. The app is pretty great, it's not their fault.

You gave it 3 stars because searching isn't great. Sometimes it gets stuck and doesn't search properly. The audio books are good, but they never work for long. I can listen for a bit before it stops. Despite many updates and trying to fix it, I haven't found a solution. I'll continue using the app for reading because it does well with e-books.

The speed feature on this app is good, but it could use some fine-tuning. I typically listen to audiobooks at 1.1x speed. However, the only choices available are 1.0 or 1.2 (or 1.4, or 1.6, etc). The jump in speed is too significant for books. Other apps like hoopla, Libby, and Audible have a dial format for adjusting the speed, which allows for more precision. It would also be convenient if there was an option to send ebooks to Kindle or Nook instead of reading them within the app, although this is not as crucial as improving the speed feature.

This app, oh boy! Let me tell you about it. It's there, yup, so it gets a couple of stars. But, let me tell you, there are some downsides too. First off, some of the ebooks I tried to read had missing pages, can you believe that? And guess what, even some audiobooks were missing chapters. That's not all, one time, out of the blue, all my ebooks and audiobooks were snatched back, days before they were due. Can you imagine? And two of them had a long line of people waiting to borrow them, making it impossible for me to snatch them back when this surprise hit me. As if that wasn't enough, some of the maps had bits missing from them too! And to top it off, when the app updated, it didn't even bother telling me what changed; just some vague message about turning suggestions into code. Quite the rollercoaster of an experience, I must say.

Good news! The app is now running smoothly and I'm happy to report it's back to a 5-star rating. It has been performing exceptionally well for quite some time that I actually forgot about my previous review. It's super easy to use and comes highly recommended. I recommend checking the app for the book you want before going to Kindle. Remember to support your local library! Update: Unfortunately, for the past 6 months or so, every time I open the app, it resets my page position back to page 1. The only way to keep track of where I left off is to bookmark the page before exiting the app. This issue has become too frustrating for me, so I had to stop using it.

Wow, I was really enjoying using this app. I usually use Libby, but I found more books available from my local library here. But now, all of a sudden, I can't search for anything. It just keeps spinning and spinning. Even the homepage won't stop loading titles. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, but still faced the same problem. Is anyone going to fix this issue? I noticed others are also encountering the same problem in the reviews.

Gosh, the new update is terrible! It doesn't show how many pages are left in the chapter anymore. I really dislike having to go into the device settings for adjusting brightness and stuff, it should have an option to opt out of this. The way the bar pops up and then goes back to the book is irritating. I'm not pleased at all! Also, there's no progress bar for the books you're reading. In general, it's not the greatest app - my old library used one with a much better format!

This app absolutely needs dark mode and it should also block screen timeout. I tried adjusting my phone settings to resolve this problem, but it simply doesn't work! The screen still shuts off every 30 seconds, no matter what settings I tweak on my phone. It's really frustrating when the pages don't turn smoothly, causing accidental highlighting with no easy way to undo it. These problems seriously disrupt my focus while reading. It's completely counterproductive for a reading app!

I love Cloud Library! I recommend it to everyone. It has been my lifeline during the pandemic. You only need a library card to access it. No late fees, your checkouts automatically return, and all my favorite authors are there! I can find so many great fiction books or interesting non-fiction ebooks and audiobooks on different topics. It's free and full of options!
