Feedback on Contacts+

would get 5 stars if it wasn't for the most recent update where there is a permanent yellow banner pushing their $100+ a year gold subscription. It is an eye sore at the top of the contacts menu. It should go away after verifying that your not interested. i paid to upgrade to Contacts+Pro to eliminate the ads now I got to see this! Hope they do something about this cause I'm definitely not upgrading to Gold. I really don't see a need for it as I think most individuals wont either.

After being charged for renewal by Google Play on 1st June, the app has switched back to free tier, and I'm being asked to upgrade at a higher price. Trying to submit a support ticket via zendesk says I don't have an account. Submitting my case here as a last resort to get help. I hope I don't have to rate 1 star to get attention.

App is beautifully designed except merging duplicate contacts is, which is counter intuitive. The SMS ability is good but puts a lot of strain on resources particularly on devices with 1 GB of ram. Nevertheless a worthy purchase to upgrade to pro version. Edit:Nov/1/2019- with he recent update I seeing ads, and a mail still went unanswered. Being a pro product purchaser years ago, this sucks. In the name of subscription models, screwing customers is a bad business idea.

UPDATE: This new version absolutely sucks!! No way of displaying contacts as a list rather than stupid space-taking icons, and even though I paid for the pro version I am now being asked to pay again as I've been bumped down to a mid-teir owner. That's loyalty for you! ORIGINAL POST: My internal memory is nearly full so I looked to see what was taking up all the space. Turns out Contacts+ is using over 250mb! I only have around 80 contacts so I don't understand how the app needs so much data storage. Is there any way to reduce this? BTW I'm talking data, not cache. (I don't even use Contacts+ for SMS/MMS)

    It's been eight months and no solution yet. Originally, version 6 changed my account to free even though I paid for premium. Now I have to deal with ads and pay for a pricey subscription to the Gold app to access what I already paid for. The developer's responses are generic, just asking to email them instead of fixing the problems. This review will probably remain the same.

    I like this app so much, but it's frustrating. I paid for the subscription, but it feels like features are disappearing instead of getting better. I used to be able to organize my contacts into smaller lists, like 'favorites', but not anymore. Now, without that feature, the app seems useless to me. Managing a large list of contacts is important to me, so this is really disappointing and painful.

    I bought this great app to get different notification sounds for my contacts. But now I can't set them anymore. I use it for my home security alarms, my kids' messages, and my car alarms. But now everything sounds the same. Please bring back the option to set individual notifications. Thank you for the fantastic app!

    I've been attempting to change the phone feature that displays when I make or receive SIM calls. I had to install it to access Dialer+, but unfortunately, it doesn't function on my phone. It's not an option in any menu, and whenever I try to open Dialer+ from my app drawer, it crashes instantly. As of March 20, 2020, Dialer+ isn't a functional dialer app on my Blu G9 with Android 9, even after updating to the newest version.

    Back in 2015, I got the pro version of this app and it worked perfectly. It had everything I needed without any problems. Now, the new version suddenly has ads, reset my account to free, limited the number of contacts, and has an unattractive interface. I relied on this app for a long time, but now I can't trust it anymore. I'm sorry, but you just lost a customer.
