Country Star - Music tapping fun

This game is so much fun! It feels a bit easier compared to Beatstar, and there are fewer annoying tap glitches. I did notice something interesting, though. The notes come flying at you really fast, which makes them look different in size when it’s time to tap. It messes with my rhythm a little. In Beatstar, the notes feel flat, but here they seem narrow at the top and wider at the bottom. Still, great job overall!

Playing this game brings such a soothing vibe. The songs fill the air with energy, and they are simply amazing. I usually shy away from singing in public, but while playing, I let loose and sang at the top of my lungs. I didn’t even notice the audience around me, completely lost in the moment. Beatstar Country deserves all the stars, maybe even ten! A massive thank you to Beatstar. A year and a half later, I still adore every minute spent playing.

So pumped for this release. Already put some cash into it. The directional tiles and those long sliding tiles drive me crazy. Not talking about just the usual up, down, left, right. It’s those sideways ones mixed with swipes that don’t register on phones. I end up blowing through 100 gems just to finish a couple of songs. No way I'm shelling out $2 every time I jump in to play just for two or three tracks.

They designed an algorithm that ramps up the challenge as your skills improve. A song you once mastered becomes nearly impossible. It only gets harder unless you dive into spending premium currency. Right after you begin playing, they ask for reviews, probably to get those ratings. Now, every song zooms by at lightning speed. You have to swipe arrows as they appear. It feels like a trap. On the bright side, the music is fantastic.

This rhythm game rocks! It improves on the original. Playing is super smooth, no weird note issues. You don’t have to stress about missing taps like before. The UI looks familiar but feels fresh and exciting. Collecting songs is easier, though those gems still give a bit of a headache. Overall, it’s a blast to play!

The song choices feel fantastic. Opening three chests keeps me from practicing songs though. Gems or money for gems can skip wait times. I want to dive into the game more. It brings so much fun! On another note, I'm only level five after two hours and the challenge spikes too fast. Just got the hang of holding notes and hitting two at once. The speed increase makes it hard to keep up. Now there’s swiping notes too? A slower difficulty progression would be great!

Giving this game five stars because I really want my review to be noticed. I absolutely love playing it. The gameplay shines when I buy the tour pass. Everything runs smoothly, and it's a fantastic experience. But as soon as I stop spending money on the tour pass, everything changes. The glitches become unbearable. It affects my ability to earn gems and scores that I deserve. This inconsistency is really frustrating.

Country-Tastic brings a whole new vibe! Playing the original Beatstar was fun, but this takes it up a notch. The song selection is fantastic. Favorites like "Last Night," "The Gambler," "Ring of Fire," "9 to 5," and "That Don't Impress Me Much" really shine. Each track feels special and makes you want to keep playing. Imagine more music genres in this style! Beatstar Country feels like a joyful celebration of great tunes, and it’s a must-play. Big thanks to Space Ape for creating such amazing music games. They truly know how to fuel a love for music. Right at the top in my eyes!
