Using Guide

Crowdsource is an official Google app that lets you work with the community to carry out many different tasks. By doing this, you will gain experience, levels and medals.

The list of tasks that you can do with Crowdsource is pretty long. For example, when approving photos, you have to look at photos and say whether they have anything in common. When evaluating emotions, you can read reviews and comments from other Google users, and you have to specify whether they express positive, negative or neutral emotions.

Other ways to work with Crowdsource include approving translations, recognizing handwriting or identifying key points of Google Maps. Undertaking tasks like this will help you increase your level and earn medals.

Hey there! Just a quick update on my experience with Crowdsource. It's been a few weeks now and I'm still finding it a valuable way to fill my spare time. The app keeps things interesting by introducing new tasks as I go along, which is nice. Over the past ten years, I've dedicated a lot of time to exploring and learning about machine learning, which is one of my main passions. Google has always been a major player in sharing research with the community, so it feels really rewarding to be able to give back directly to the data that I've depended on for years. Keep up the good work!

Oh no, everything was going well. I enjoy giving my time to help others without expecting anything in return. This app made it convenient for me to do so. Interestingly, I realized that there is a website that also allows me to do the same thing without the app. Anyway, as I mentioned, everything was going smoothly. Suddenly, the pictures started to look strange. Eventually, there were images of nooses! My husband hung himself. That's really upsetting. 😭😭😭

This app is simple and enjoyable. It wasn't what I expected at first, but I found myself enjoying it in my spare time even though it doesn't offer any rewards. Sometimes, the best knowledge comes from doing things that aren't about money.

I really enjoy it. It's kind of like a fun challenge or a puzzle for me. It helps me stay sharp in my different languages, and I find it gratifying to know that I'm making a positive impact!

This app is awesome and fun to use, but it would be even better if Google could add a reward system. It would be nice to earn something for helping out instead of feeling like it's a waste of time. Imagine if the credits from Google Opinion Rewards could be used in this app to buy stuff from the Play Store, like books, apps, or music. That would be so cool!

It's okay at the beginning, but after a while, it might get a bit boring. If they could find a way to prevent abuse, maybe they could think about giving a little reward each time you finish some tasks, like in the Rewards app.

This app is fantastic. I love spending my free time completing tasks. I reached level 8 in just one month. It feels great knowing I'm helping make Google products better. I encourage everyone to give it a try.

Yes, indeed. The tasks are for Google's AI, but personally I see them as a way to pass time. Many of the questions are quite simple, and if you encounter a difficult one, you can always move on. Additionally, there's a leaderboard where you can aim to rank as high as you can. While the rewards are not substantial, it's a fun way to spend time. Oh, and please allow me to enlarge the image for label verification. Thank you.

Oh, I tried this app, and it's really good! It does exactly what it promises. However, being a Filipino speaker, I noticed that there are no tasks available in my native language. Plus, features like Translation and Translation Validation are missing completely. I really hope these issues I encountered will be addressed and resolved soon.
