Choose one gem stream

At the end of a song, pick one stream of gems and aim for that. It’s tempting to spin around and try and get multiple streams, but more often than not you’re just going to end up missing all of them. Pick one and head down that one.

Check your color

Always make sure you know what color you should be aiming for. A quick glance at your blade should give you all the information you need. If you’re about to change color, the glowing ring will tell you what to aim for as well.

Use headphones

This is definitely a game that plays better when you’re wearing headphones. It’s going to help you pick out the beat better, which is going to really help with your timing. Plug in some headphones and your scores are likely to get even better.

Look ahead

Always keep an eye ahead of you to see what’s coming up. It’s going to make it much easier to react to the movements you’re going to have to make. The more prepared you are, the better you’re going to do, so watch out in front of you and make sure you’re always ready for your next move. 

What are the keys for?

When you’ve picked up three keys you can unlock some chests to get new gear and extra gems. When you’ve used your three keys you’ll get a chance to watch a video to get three more. It’s not really worth doing, especially if you’ve already got the best thing that the chests have to offer.
