Video on screen is blurry

Established in 2009, DailyRoads Voyager operates as a car black box, dash cam, or auto DVR that continuously records videos and photos during your travels. The app automatically captures all footage, but only crucial events are stored for later use or as proof. You have the liberty to select what to retain by simply touching the screen, even while driving.

DailyRoads Voyager is an Android dashcam app, allowing for continuous video recording from vehicles. Essentially, the application acts as a video black box, dashcam or auto DVR, recording everything, but only keeping what the user is really interested in. The user is usually the driver of a car, who can now quickly and safely capture video sequences of important road events.

FAQ

Can I record with both the front and rear cameras at the same time?

Dual camera recording is not yet properly supported in the Android development framework. Mostly preinstalled camera apps offer this functionality, using hidden parameters. There are also some special libraries allowing this, but they come with various compatibility issues.

Why am I receiving error messages when I try to record videos?

The app works fine on most devices, but there can be specific problems on certain models. The most common cause is related to the selected video options not being compatible with what the device supports. Please find your model in our statistics database and try the most popular options.

Another reason can be the video stabilization option (checkbox in the video settings). On some devices this camera firmware option can cause errors or corrupt videos, so lease try to disable it.

How can I save files to the SD card?

Please go to the “File storage” option in the app’s settings. Then a tap on “Full path” allows you to choose where to save videos and photos. In the recent years, Google has introduced 3 major changes related to SD cards, so there are differences in how you access the card, depending on the Android version.

Pro Version includes:

- no ads

- camera selection post-installation

- uploads to Dropbox and custom servers

- option for auto-app startup after device boot

- Bluetooth functionality for auto-start and auto-stop

- 1000 video overlay credits on server

Enjoy your safe travels!

Downloaded the app, used it for 1 hour. It ate up 3.12 gigabytes of my data! Had to add 2 more gigabytes to my plan to avoid overage fees. Using this app will drain your wallet. Just a heads up!

My previous review got deleted because I found a new bug. When my phone is connected to the charger, the camera app doesn't start recording in landscape mode as selected. On Samsung S5 and S9, there are problems with the camera orientation and recording tasks. The app doesn't always start recording when it should. Also, there's confusion about the 'vertical' orientations in the settings - unclear what they mean. This bug limits the app for me, so it's not a 5-star anymore. Besides, my phone starts overheating since the recent Android update.

The app doesn't record in the background in landscape mode. I always hold my phone horizontally for a wider view. Please improve this, and I'll rate it higher.

There's this super cool dashcam app that I tried out on my old Samsung J2 phone, which doesn't even have a SIM card in it. It works flawlessly and records all my trips without any problems. Shoutout to the developers for creating such an awesome app!

The app was amazing when I first tried it. But the next day, something went wrong. Whenever I opened it, I couldn't access the camera. There was no button to switch to the camera view, and the back button just closed the app. I managed to fix it by clearing the app's cache and storage once, but the issue reappeared the next time I used it. It's disappointing to be stuck in the video library without any way to escape.

The free version is great! It shows data like altitude and compass heading really well. The start/stop features do what they're supposed to. I'm thinking about getting the pro version.

I use it every day, for over a year now. But I'm switching to something new because I always miss the action that I want to capture between videos, even though I've set it to minimize gaps. It's frustrating, and I hope they can improve by allowing continuous recording or reducing the gaps between videos. Everything else about the app is great, but what's the use if I can't capture the action I want?
