Usage Guidelines

Confirm when using Facebook to sign in to the DQ® App

    Step 1: Sign in to your Facebook account.

    Step 2: Tap on the down arrow icon in the top right of Facebook.

    Step 3: Select Settings & Privacy, then tap on Settings.

    Step 4: Select Apps and Websites in the left side menu.

    Step 5: If Dairy Queen is listed, you can sign in to the DQ® App by tapping on the blue Continue with Facebook button on the app's Sign In page.

Change the email address on my account

    Step 1: Open the DQ® App and go to the My DQ® tab in the bottom navigation bar.

    Step 2: Tap on Edit My Profile.

    Step 3: Change the email address in the Email Address field.

    Step 4: Tap on the blue Save Profile button at the bottom of the page.

Note: Email addresses cannot be changed for accounts set up with Apple ID or Facebook.

Reset password

For DQ® App Password Reset:

    Step 1: Open the DQ® App and go to the My DQ tab in the bottom navigation bar.

    Step 2: Tap on Change My Password.

    Step 3: Follow the instructions to set up a new password.

    Step 4: When you’re ready, tap on the blue Save button to save your new password.

    Tracker doesn't have a point expiry date listed. Points expire after 365 days, but no warning is given before expiry. You have to calculate from transaction history which only shows limited transactions not going back 365 days. Points are useless if you can't use them!

    You know, I didn't want to waste time by driving all the way to DQ without checking the menu first. But when I looked online, I couldn't find anything, so I decided to download the app. Unfortunately, it didn't work in my state, and I couldn't sign up or even view the menu without selecting a location. This app is really frustrating.

    I used to get good coupons, but now the app only shows me a coupon for a Misty Freeze every Monday which I don't like. I won't use it. This is wasting Dairy Queen's time and business. Show me something I like and I'll return. For now, this app is just taking up space on my phone.

    I like this app because it's easy to use. But the Dairy Queen near me doesn't offer mobile service, so the app isn't helpful for me. I've never had a company respond to any of my reviews before. Dairy Queen told me they will expand their rewards program to more stores in the U.S soon. Everyone enjoys saving money with coupons, especially digital ones :). The Dairy Queen in my area is always busy, but the staff there are fast, polite, and attentive.

    The app doesn't let you choose your pickup time. It doesn't show the right locations or whether you can pick up inside or not. I ordered online and chose to pick up inside. But when we got there, the inside was closed, and we had to wait in a 30-minute line in the drive-thru. By the time we got our food at the window, it was cold because of the long wait.

    The app always selects in-store pick up by default, which is annoying because then I have to wait longer and go inside to get my order. They always keep it behind the counter. The deals are okay. I can't log in anymore even though I'm sure my password is correct. I even changed it, but it still doesn't work. Such a mess.

    That app is great, but I have a suggestion. The Dairy Queen near me is so expensive! Sometimes I forget to scan my phone for points, which annoys me. Can you make it possible to scan the barcode on the receipt if we forget to scan at the register? That would be really helpful!

    It would have been nice to use the app at my usual spots, but they didn't offer it. Now they do, but the app has problems. I tried to pay with my debit card, but it didn't work. I had to pay through the app for an order. Then, when I tried to scan my barcode for rewards, it didn't work. I couldn't use a BOGO coupon because of the payment issue. Also, I couldn't add my DQ gift card as a payment option like other apps allow. It's frustrating that they promote this app/service when it doesn't work properly.
