How to buy De Lijn e-ticket:

1. Install De Lijn App

There will still be some special descriptions, you can slide them directly.

As for asking if you want to register, you can also choose Skip.

2. Enter the home page of the screen.

At this point, click on the menu in the upper left corner and click [Buy tickets]

3. The types of tickets that can be purchased will be listed here. For example, you can purchase ten-time tickets in the APP (but the price is the same, so there is no more discount)

Another option is a one-day pass. If you can ride more than 4 times, you can buy a one-day pass.

Click [Buy now] to purchase

4. Agree to the relevant terms. After ticking, you can press [I accept]

5. At this point, you will be asked to enter your phone number

Only phone numbers from EU countries can be selected here

According to the description, this phone number can also confirm that you have purchased a ticket when your mobile phone is out of battery.

Because I bought an internet card, I got a UK phone number [Introduction to European internet cards]

What if you don’t have a phone number? It's irresponsible. You can key in any number, because after I entered the phone number, I didn't receive any SMS verification.

British mobile phone numbers are ten digits

If there is no problem, you can press [Continue] to continue.

6. It will ask you to confirm your phone number again

This step only requires registration once initially

7. Press [Confirm] and the payment screen will appear.

Payment can be made using MaterCard, VISA, or any Taiwanese credit card.

8. After I select MasterCard, I will be asked to enter relevant payment information

Press [Yes, I confirm my payment] and it will jump to the verification screen.

9. After the transaction is completed, you will jump back to the original App screen.

It will then show that your payment has been completed. Press the OK button in the middle to complete the ticket purchase process.

10. At this time, the App will have an additional m-ticket for you to use.

According to the official website, you cannot buy tickets on the bus, otherwise it will be an illegal ride.

De Lijn Bus Arrival Time Inquiry:

Click Search at the bottom of the app to detect the stop sign closest to you on the map. Click the stop sign you want to search to check the arrival time of the bus.

The advantage of the app is that any latest news such as delays, congestion levels, bus cancellations, etc. will be updated instantly on it.
